For a UK city cardiff is actually quite diverse because it was a huge port in the past and people came from all over to work in the docks. Compared to London it isn't very diverse because London is a global city and people all over the world move there.
Yes exactly, its actually very diverse but luckily NOT London. London is just the pits now. Cardiff more more beautiful, nicer people lots to do if your into nature & exploring/hiking.
I've lived in Cardiff my entire life, and don't spend too much time in the city centre. It's really interesting to hear the thoughts of somebody talking about the city from an outside perspective. Lots of the things you talk about i never would have thought about or mentioned, etc. Some other things though (like diversity for example) i can apply to my own experiences. Anyway, hope you enjoy yourself here!
Thank you for watching the video!! How comes you don’t spend much time in the city centre? Are there better places to go around?! I will try and enjoy my time here and hope you do too😊
@@estherrwan i live in the suburbs, and am still in high school, so I just don't need to go into town that much, is all. I still go in every now and then though, to shop for stuff I can't get in the local area
Hey Esther how have you found the weather in Cardiff compared to London, does it really rain alot more or is it very similar with a few more rainy days? Also have you found Cardiff more diverse than you originally thought 8 months on. Thanks
Hi Parvez, The weather is somewhat similar to London although, the air is less stuffy here in the summer! I’ve met a few more people of colour but diversity still isn’t something I’ve seen on a massive scale at uni!
You must be dizzy if you think Cardiff isn’t diverse, go grange, docs, city road ect. You need to explore more out of the city centre, apart from that gd vid

@@FrenchUzi thanks mate and unfortunately I left after first year but not because of those reasons simply cos I didn’t like my course. Love Cardiff thought
Cardiff has the oldest multicultural community in the UK. It is a very diverse city.

Exactly. I compared Cardiff to London for diversity because that is where I have grown up, of which I mentioned in the video!
It was the biggest dock in the world at one point and has the oldest multicultural community in the uk
Cardiff is lovely but compared to london is just a Borough
