OMG I had no idea that they were so religious. he belives in the authority of God so if he is the "kind" than why he would not do something to protect us from all the violence that is happening right now. I dont think there is much logic in what he is saying and believing in God so mcuh or believing in an idiology can be pretty dangerous to free thinking

To set my statement: God gave us free will.
We could have chosen an eternal walk in peace with Him or we could have chosen ourselves; we chose ourselves and sin long long ago over peace with God. All violence, hatred, sickness, evil, etc ultimately stems from us (the self), not God. He is kind enough that he gives us a choice; Him or ourselves. For God to interrupt that choice would interrupt the free will He gave us, which would in turn violate every covenant He has made with man and would make Christ’s sacrifice vain.
So there you have it. God does not override our free will. In order for Him to take away all violence and evil He would have to make us all robots and violate His own laws and attributes which would make him not God, but a tyrant.

People are so quick to blame God and forget that the devil is also roaming about looking for someone to devour; he will only devour you if you allow him and God will only come to you if You allow Him, but know that He will judge you when the time is right. May God help us all and lead us into repentance so that we do not become the devil's bait
