Oh yes, I recall Avon's "Turquoise" period with some paisley on the outside of the bag her Avon Lady would bring. She would give mom tiny lipsticks in white holders with a clear lid. Mom would let us have hers after she tried them. We thought we were SO cool, my sister and I. We'd get packets of skin cream. Then WE would play Avon Lady, taking turns. Mine and my sisters' play, I think, made ASMR important to me. I knew those feelings very young, we didn't know one day it would have a name!

You know, my mom is, without a doubt, the inspiration for this channel. I lost her to cancer 23 years ago when she was only 61. I think when I make these videos, I somehow channel her. And maybe you feel some of that, my dear. 😌🌺✨
This spring was rough-two big trips, a bad fall on my hip, Covid. Ended up taking a few breaks from the channel. But I’m trying to slowly get back to one a week. ☺️☺️☺️
Ummm . . . yes! 😂😂😂 But this was a legit treatment that Elizabeth Arden salons used back in the day (I discovered during my research). I'm guessing they didn't emulsify to the point of mayo?
You are absolutely correct! (Interesting thing about Avon, by contrast--you can find 1960s ads with black Avon ladies and black customers, so even though the vintage foundation sampler set I have is 100% Caucasian-minded, they must have had foundations in deeper shades as well.)

You may want to rethink the rings when doing these videos, women working in the beauty industry in those days would most probably not be wearing anything on their hands and not on their pointer fingers as that is a more 60s and 70s fashion trend.
