Disney's Hauntoberfest lives rent free in my mind every October. I loved so many of the classic movies that came out and looked forward to watching them after Trick or Treating as a kid. Shame they don't do it anymore.
This was an absolute wonderful trip!! Thanks for going through the history of Halloween on the Disney channel. My favorite eras were the 4th and 5th. I’m a little biased since those are the ones I primarily grew up and were raised on. Those specials really bring a tear to my eye, and bring back a lot of happy memories for me. Halloween town will forever be my favorite Halloween movie, it’s what got me to love it so much!! “Halloween is cool!” And “Being normal, is vastly overrated!”

Also continuing with the event on November 1st showing "Blackbeard's Ghost", "The Fantasy Film World of George Pal", and "Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger".

I didn't watch all the way through but immediately noticed you made an error when you said Michael Eisner hosted "A Disney Halloween" in 1983 when it premiered. That is 100% false. Michael Eisner didn't even come to the Walt Disney Company until September 1984. He began hosting the anthology with the Disney Sunday Movie in 1986. So far and this is only based on what I have from other archivists, I only have solid evidence he hosted The Magical World of Disney's version in 1991, however, in 1990 The Magical World of Disney played Disney's Halloween Treat and my evidence and research suggests the intro we all know him for in "A Disney Halloween" was the same intro used for 1990's episode of Treat. You also missed a significant special that many hardcore pre-1997 Disney Channel hold dearly to our hearts - Tim Burton's Hansel & Gretel from 1983. Other than that and being too reliant on only TH-cam videos, thanks for this video!

Halloween on the Disney Channel during the 80s and 90s was awesome. But when you get to the 2000s and when the channel started to cater to teenage girls, they made Halloween lame.
Poor baby! Not everything is made specifically for your personal tastes. Oppression! It's fine for girls to watch shows with boys as leads, they are second class citizens after all, right? But god forbid a boy watch a show with a female lead!

Halloween on the Disney Channel during the 80s and 90s was awesome. But when you get to the 2000s and when the channel started to cater to teenage girls, they made Halloween lame.
Poor baby! Not everything is made specifically for your personal tastes. Oppression! It's fine for girls to watch shows with boys as leads, they are second class citizens after all, right? But god forbid a boy watch a show with a female lead!
