I know this is talking big game, but with enough reps I think I can get close
This commentary is so so good! Best I've ever heard, including a lot of other sports
These commentators are awesome, would love to see more of them announcing games like this for ultiworld!
Really cool to see this game on TH-cam!

@@Rakkerrr Thanks 🙂
That East guy with two bad calls and even worse defense.
so many travels ho my eyes
Nah, this is modern ultimate.
@@Rakkerrr
Yeah. It seems the WFDF is making the travel legal with the new rule change. Is it better? It will get rid of some calls and many non-calls. That’s always good. On the other hand, It certainly changes the game, and is different from what those Jersey kids intended.
@@joeblow2426 the rule change doesn't impact how much US players move their pivot...
@@squidge903
Hard to disagree with that. It has been that way for years, but that doesn't make a travel justified--legal or not--in my eyes. But, to me, lifting your pivot is much less egregious than throwing while running. It's just not Ultimate to me; it looks like another game--keep away or something. You are supposed to stop after you get the disc. (Yes, you could always throw it while trying to stop.) Next thing you know, you'll be able to run it over the goal line for a score. Sheesh.
@@joeblow2426 it's definitely made the game faster. Whether that's a good thing or not, I don't know... There's a 'theory' I've heard floating around that Ultimate is at its best when it's fast paced. I agree to a point... But there's definitely a limit. An offense that can score too easily is super boring to watch, and all the motion offense (I refuse to use the term 'small ball') means the D has barely any ability to threaten possession. But I still think the new rule is an overall improvement.
As for people moving their pivots... If a player moves their pivots everytime they fake, they're sure as hell gonna do it when they throw. If they can't fake or throw without breaking the rules, they're gaining advantage by playing that way because they've demonstrated they cannot play without it. It needs to be called far more often.
Who is the announcer with the fog horn voice? Makes it hard to listen to. Sorry.
Stef Rapazzo, has been an Ulti.TV commentator for yeaaaars.
@@Rakkerrr
Ok, thanks. I’ll try to listen to what he is saying if I can take that voice. I don’t know about him, but you usually only get a voice like that from smoking or other vocal abuse. He gives me serious “ear trouble.”
@@Rakkerrr played against him in a tournament in Nicaragua, such a nice genuine guy!
