Over the past two years God has been impressing on me this verse... Micah 6:8 8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, “and to love mercy”, and to walk humbly with thy God? We must show mercy to get mercy... ...and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again. Bro Arnold keeps bringing up the mercy of God in his messages I have been listening to. And boy do I need it!
I and my wife watched the sermon on Jeramiah....Turn Me and I will be turned and recieved instruction...but someone disabled the comment section, so obviously it offended some...but this was an incredible moment for Brother Arnold to realize after all this time that He needed God to Turn Him and he shall be turned. This I know went over many heads, and it's a sad day to my spirit that hes losing people because people no longer as a Church can except reproof and sound doctrine. It angered many I'm sure, but understand this...if he has caused a Godly sorrow...for that he cannot apologize. It goes to show you how easily this era and generation are so easily offended. Well I'd rather be offended than to burn. Thanks Brother Arnold...even my wife felt an offense, but I pray the word of God pierce her spirit with that message. Please pray for Gerald Wilson...His Wife and family that God may turn us...because we simply cannot do it ourselves. God Bless you all. My brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus of Nazereth.
I think that people don't understand the things that he brings to the table, and are so used to patty cake Christianity that they fail to see the sincerity and truth in his words at times. You helped clarify what things that he faced. If I had done it then they would of said condescending things, but now they have an outside source. Thank you so much.
Called, Chosen and Faithful Thank you, but I have never known the man. I have only watched some of his sermons, and I could feel in my spirit that he's really been put through the ringer, and possibly felt as though he may have failed in some way...but when men start praising you and speak so well of you...then that's the real time to worry. Pastor Arnold you may feel as though you have failed God, but look at what The Apostle Paul went through, and I say your doin pretty good for at least although there's a time when you gotta shake the dust off your feet because in these days men simply will not understand sound doctrine, but be of good cheer, for greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world, and that Church you have fought so hard for and lamented over is only a building. Your greatest treasure is still to come. In my spirit, I do believe times have been hard simply because people who need a real word from God and isn't worthy to even receive it such as myself...need this hard truth. its not the megachurch popularity preacher people that are really hurting need, because when this Nation is judged by The Judge then what are all those that teach riches and prosperity gonna say in an hour of darkness to their congregation? Nothing. Because if you ain't walked through the fire, you dont know how hot things can really get. I thank God for you, and even if it means losing every man and woman in that Church because they cant except reproof without getting angry and leaving then it's not you who needs to feel the need to be apologetic, and when that day comes when you tickle the ears just to keep the doors open, then you will have lost your way. Does it not say my brother in the end times people will be angry because of offenses? I've never in my life seen more people getting their feelings hurt than I have lately. If they ever want you to not come back, then theirs others who are hungry for God waiting for you and to refresh you my brother, and even if we end up on an island alone with just the true remnant...then Dear Sir...You have fought the good fight. I love ya brother, and thank you for the truth. If you inspire the hopeless and the hungry, the beaten and the battered, the addicted and abused, then you will have done more than you will ever know brother. Always tell the truth, for you cannot apologize ever for causing a Godly sorrow that leadeth to repentance. Gerald Wilson.
