our church has a disturbing tendency to lean in favour of conservative organisations as witnesses to the Holy Spirit largely just because they are conservative. I am glad they are being governed more closely.

It makes sense to lean conservative when it’s an institution of great significance and impact. It’s thesame with the law/courts. It tends to lean conservative. But yes the conservative must be checked and vice versa. And the Truth must be the guide of both sides

Does this mean that a Personal Prelature is no longer a distinct Jurisdiction but instead a Public Association within and existing Diocese?
If the lay persons and Clergy of Opus Dei were previously in a Jurisdiction Canonically distinct or seperate from the local territorial Dioceses, it seems as of August 8 2023 that is no longer the case, this follows last year's decision by the Pope to stop Prelates from becoming Bishops.
I am not in Opus Dei but I am in a Personal Ordinariate (a seperate jurisdiction) and find this development concerning.

I don't not agree with the changes introduced by Pope Francis. So do many. Most people in Asia are no fan of him either.
