I coped by using citalopram 20 mg for 14 years, then suffered serious burnout and breakdown and had to leave. Still on medication 10 years later. I was a support worker for adults with profound learning disabilities. No one cared, and I was just replaced by some other unsuspecting poor soul.

Was about to go on an SNRI or SSRI for an Overactive Bladder which I've only realised is caused by stress due to having time off work and the issue dissipating. I've been applying for jobs all day. No job is worth your mental health and wellbeing
Stop trying. Your efforts are largely in vain unless you have true power to bargain. Anyone reading this likely doesnt. Instead do bare minimum and constsntly ask for bonuses. Flip the script

We are losing the context in trying to remove stress, rather than working with it. Too much stress leads to early death, too little stress also leads to early death.
