Hi, nice guide! Do you know of a way of making a sort of dynamic symbol, which can have a user specified text input? For example a symbol of a capacitor with text attatched to it, where I could just place a bunch of those in the drawing and specify different value for each?
OK, nvm. I've figured it out. In case anyone was wondering: Draw your symbol and add text to it (any text). While adding text choose from a drop down menu "entered value" and save it. Whenever you place a symbol it will prompt you for value, which you can edit later on as well. It's such a shame Inventor doesn't come with common sketch symbols like convergence (slope) or groove type.
