Wow this is so different and worked out gorgeous. I went ooh no when you tore it up, as I thought it was beautiful as it was. But oh my gosh, what you did to it was stunning. Love love love this one. You are so talented. xxx
I watched her video too where she tore up her creation and sewed it together again and loved it! I’ve done it three times now and love the results. This turned out so cute! Thanks for sharing.
I absolutely LOVE this! This is my jam! Thank you for introducing me to Lisa Goddard’s style. If it wasn’t almost my bedtime, I’d go try this right now haha
I love all your cards. It’s so entertaining to see what you’re going to come up with. It’s amazing to me the combinations that look so pretty together. Thank you
This is a joy for the eyes Shanna. I love it so much and love the colours. I love that ballerina from Tim Holtz as I have also used her on one of my cards too lol. Michelle
Wow! I did not see this coming at all. I was at full attention the entire time. Looks fantastic. It has so many areas that the eye moves towards and then the focal. From the paint to the material is perfect. Enjoyed all of this. Thank you for sharing. *Debbie*
DITTO what everybody said!!! Yep, me too,...freaked out a bit when you tore it up!!! But I love, love, love the end result!!! I'm fairly SURE I NEVER would have torn up the page on my own! But I will now. I especially love how you used playing card under focal point. Never seen that. Watching this video was like watching a thriller movie! On the edge of my seat. I want to do this now! Thank you for the video. Austin,TX USA
I really really enjoyed watching you create this altered playing card. It’s like no other I’ve seen. It’s really really stunning and gorgeous too and I really really love ❤️ how you tore up the background and put together in a different order. I’m really really inspired to create something like it thank you so much Sharna. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
At first I was like no don’t rip it, but wow your eye for art is simply outstanding, I just love your work, your absolutely amazing, thank you, I love watching you
Wow love the colors of this card! So beautiful, I will say my heart skipped a beat when you finished the page and started ripping it up, but it turned out great! I do have a quick question though how do you do the sewing on you papers? Every time I try my sewing my paper just get perforated and tears?
Hi Ashley, I use my sewing machine to sew, do try loosening the tension and use a wider running stick setting. I had to try quite a few times to get it not to tear or just perforate, it's all about the tension from what I have learned. Hope this helps :-)
