I am so impressed. Such a good explanation and not at all difficult to understand. I have done a few projects of mosaic overlay and of course nobody really likes cutting the yarn after each row. I’m about to undertake a center out project and I see no reason to not incorporate this technique. Thank you.

This is awesome. Thank you for showing the written pattern versus what you have in the row below so we know what to do!
This was extremely helpful and very easy to follow. I've been looking for mosaic crochet without flaps in the back. Thank you!
Not so difficult at all! This is so far the best explanation for the Negative stich I have seen! Video quality is great! Thank you for sharing! 🥰🧶
Very very helpful. I've wondered about the negative stitch for months. NOW I get it!!! Thank you!!
This is extremely helpful, thank you very much!
Thank you, this is exactly what I’ve been looking for 🤗
No-Flaps Reversible Mosaic! 😊
You are very smart, thank you for sharing ❤️
This is by far the easiest I've explanation for negative (or anchored) stitches I've seen. THANK YOU! Now I think I'll try it!

Thank you.
It was vry useful. Thank you
Love it very easy to follow.Don’t suppose you have a way to do overlay without cutting each row?
I think that can be done with interlock crochet. However, I haven't tried it myself yet.
@@frankyscrochetpatterns Thank you
Bonjour, j aime beaucoup ce motif, le pattern est il en vente?
How do you know whether to do a regular single crochet or a negative single crochet?
When you have to do a SC on top of a DC, then you do the negative stitch. You can see that in your pattern or on your work 🙂
This is what i would love to know. I can't see the reply u had either for the answer
@@emmachapman1179 the comment above yours says, "When you have to do a SC on top of a DC, then you do the negative stitch."
@@lovesmeknotcrochet thank u so much-
Is there a video showing how the do the negative on the diagonal stitches?
How much thicker or bulkier does it make the afghan?
The blanket does indeed get thicker, I think about 1.5 times as thick. If you use lightweight yarn (acrylic), the blanket won’t be very heavy 🙂
Beautiful but I don't get it yet ❤
How do you start the next row? Do you just turn or do you start over from the right side only?
Always start from the right side 🙂
How do i startlbegin the whole work?

How much more yarn does it use to do this?
That’s a bit of a challenging question! It depends on the number of double crochets in the pattern. I think you use about 15 to 25% wool.
