I used to run hardcore Uber runs to level people’s toons and gotta say it’s nice to see a non-smiterdin being able to run these. Although a lot has changed since I played. the rune word that lets you summon for example
@@esoteric404 Harmony has been around since D2LOD (not sure which patch) but it was a ladder only runeword, D2R allowed Ubers + ladder only runewords in singleplayer :D
@ huh interesting. Yeah I only ever played ladder on HCUSwest. Just never knew about it. Is it viable for 8player games? I played when everything on ladder was more or less cookie cutter, ie: HOA, HOTO, enigma, shako, spirit, eBOTD, COA etc.
I dont believe this was possible in the original version of Ubers, they were immune to everything but physical. But amazingly well played and you managed to pull it off that is all that matters, and its not easy in any way.
@daniellassander I think that you might be thinking of just the Balrog demons? Which is still the case - but yeah some of these runs would not be as easy in the old version due to lack of ladder runewords (such as Harmony) I could be wrong but I don't recall the ubers themselves having 6 immunities, but I'd have to go back and look at the old patch notes
