I honestly love everything about this. Real old-school Figure vibes, brings back good memories. But the track sounds fresh as fuck at the same time. Good balance. This song hits hard too. The tempo switch is ballistic and I swear Figure is the only dude who does it so seamlessly. Btw, I feel like the 2010/2011 "vocal YOP/YOY" style simply had way more longevity than riddim patterns, so it saddens me that most of the scene have abandoned this style. Figure continues to give variety to his releases, and at least Sadhu for example released "The YoY" in 2020, which was a homage to this style. Good to know artists are still making the real wobbly shit that we all know dubstep for. Even Cookie Monsta (R.I.P) highlighted the lack of wubs in dubstep as early as 2016, which was the purpose behind his "Wobble EP" Edit: Btw, is this a Monsters 12 track or a stand alone I wonder?
