for ur Spender perspective of course is not worth to buy those stellar summon, but its one of the only option f2p have to obtain some of the hypo/celes units... so for me at least is worth the try,

I agree whit you mate this is bad advice the only usable her from all of this in late game is Hewynn and mybe Granny or Rowan and they are not bad but not important.
Hey man, usually I agree with your takes, however I think your take comes from a place of spender's mindset. All these characters can be obtained from standard recruitment. Cele/Hypo such as Reinier and Scarlita are nutty and getting them to M+/S+ respectively changes your account. It's far easier to get S+ arena units even without the arena store and I think that given how rare stellar crystals are, you are doing yourself a disservice not getting them in the shop.
Considering the rarest resource in the game is the orange essences and that the best way to come by these resources is on Dream Realm Ranking, it's hard to imagine the best DR units to not be a priority for your account. That is to say cele hypo units are topping the ranks. I still remember the day i got my M+ Reinier and i jumped from top 100 to top 20. It's no joke.
This is advice for people who are still building the standard heroes and low rank in Arena so you get less currency. But as a low spender who has most heroes in S+ now and I’m in top 50, these are worth grabbing for me now since I’m building Scarlita. Saving up in the guild shop takes way too long for stellar crystals.
The devs dont allow us to get enough stargaze for hypo/celestials, and you are advising people not to buy these?? Crazy whale take. I can put all those heroes on my wishlist and get them over time. Im mindblown
If only the arena store wasn't the only reliable source of scamgazers...the other monthly stores give a laughable amount, the guild chest gives 0 more times that it gives 1-2, and other sources are either one-time or random events that we have to hope they keep releasing every 2 weeks.
Hewyn and Granny are S+ tier only if you have built other units around them such as Eironn, Thoran, Ulmus (all reliant on RNG pulls), arden, damian, and all the big stall teams are shifting towards Talene, Scarlita and maybe Ludovic. You are seeing this from the perspective of someone who has full S+ or even paragon units but somehow doesn't have these shop heroes yet. Those kind of players do not struggle with resources for sure.
Also, if you are active in Arena you can buy all those orbs (they are monthly now) and have plenty of currency to still buy a couple of S heros before the reset.

"Never buy" is too harsh. I think f2p players should buy them at least until they get Reiner to M+. Riener is so important for dream realm. One copy of Brutus and Rowan are no exception, then Granny and Hewynn to S+. You can buy only 2 of Granny and Hew anyways so the rest should go to the crystals.
Disagree with you on this. Just simple, getting all those S Heroes Sup+ won't help me to win on PVP or out dmg in Dream Realm with the team have one of those Scali, Phae, Rein, Talene M+

I'm not even considering Paragon, I'm not even half way there but I do have some built teams I use at M+ or higher. These orbs are the only way as a very minimal spender (only noble paths) that I can get Celest/Hypo heroes. For this reason I shall continue to get them.
Yeah in my opinion as a fellow F2P i wouldnt even consider thinking about paragon until i get 20 heroes to S+ and currently im just at 7 LOL
I dunno Man, but for me owning high rarity heroes feels more satisfying than having Granny or Hewwyn maxed out.
Short term this might be beneficial, but longterm it's garbage advice, sorry. People overstate the usefulness of buyable Arena units.
After over 3 months of playing the only unit you should really get is Hewynn and simply for Arena defense, nothing else. The rest won't help you in any content to rank higher and rankings are the top priority.
On top of that it's a monthly store reset...not buying the Stargazers literally means getting 1 S rank less PER MONTH. The real game changers are all units not available in the Arena shop and once you have those the next real game changers are Cele/Hypos...crippling your long term progression for 1 lousy S rank per month is horrible advice. Yeah it takes several months to build up a Cele/Hypo. But that one unit will have a larger impact on your account than anything available in the arena shop.
PS: And that doesn't take into account that since release Cele/Hypos were the only real upgrades that came out...the rate up banner has been straight up garbage since release.

If there would be Thoran, Eironn, Carolina or hell even Alsa. Sure. But After Hewynn and prolly Grannie there is nothign else. Just as a comparison, I went from top 20-35% Dream Realm everyday, to STRAIGHT up top 200 everyday because Reinier reached Mythic+. There is not a single S hero who does that.
Yup. It's like... should I get closer to my S+ Scarlita even if it takes a while and it's expensive, or should I hurry up to get Lumont to paragon?
Agree, out of the purchasable units i only use Hewynn everywhere except dream realm, Dahne for supreme arena, and brutus for supreme arena and afk multi stage but brutus is still usable at one copy and i'm not super try hard on supreme arena so yeah not much use from these units.
Also the cherry on top, once i get Scarlita to M+ i would prolly throw Hewynn from my arena team and she might be team 2/3 in supreme arena
what i feel is this: if you are going to quit the game in 3 months or 6 months, buy the S heroes and ignore the stellars. But if you are going to play the game long term like for years, you really should buy out all those stellars because you will get all those S heroes anyway from just playing the game and getting rewards long term. its just delayed gratification
but then again, if one has plans to quit the game in 3 months or 6 months then might as well quit now since this game is a marathon, not a sprint.
I will keep buying stellar crystal, and here is why:
1) i have enough to max both hewyn and dahne (my bottleneck funny enough are the acorns)
2) out of the rest i'm only kinda interested in casadee for dream realm and igor to have a counter vs vala but
2.1) i'm in endless in dream realm so pure dmg is better and there's no guarantee the pre endless nerf carries to the next season
2.2) i can just avoid fighting enemy vala in the arenas or link eironn to thoran and have him take the heat
3) From stargazing you can also gain acorns (which i need as stated in 1) ), ex materials (which even in top 50 server and top 200 district i dont get enough income) and chance for a good chunk of diamonds (which any f2p will gladly take)
4) since i'm already fighting for top 20 in arena the only real upgrade i can get for my eironn control team is getting Scarlita
5) For supreme arena the Eironn team and Odie team cover me decently but my 3rd team is terrible and the heroes in the arena shop are either in those 2 teams or are not goob for arena, but making a team around Scarlitta would be way better
6) Yes i could start getting more copies of hewynn and dahne but consider that as f2p i only have 7 (+3 getting really close) at S+ so it will take me a really long time for paragon, so my plan would be to start worrying about paragon once i get around 20 heroes to S+
7) even without point 6) M+ Scarlita and S+ dahne and hewynn is better than no Scarlita (technically epic from login) and Paragon Hewynn and Dahne.

8) if you really want one of the arena heroes it might be better to put them on the wishlist
9) none of the arena shop heroes are meta (maybe could argue dahne and hewynn). But most celes/hypos are, in both arena and dream realm

What you're supposed to do is watch the video, then make sure to do the exact opposite of what he says. This is very valuable information he's just presenting it in a different way.
I like your videos, but this is straight up false. Everybody who does not buy these scamgazers is sabotaging his own account.
The problem with your analysis is the massive gap in quantity between the arena store heroes and the celestials/hypogeans available. I mean yes, Granny, Hewynn and Rowan are pretty good heroes, but none of them are actually mandatory for any meta team. All the other heroes can have their uses but aren't particularly meta and so will mostly be used in certain PvP builds for supreme arena. Compare that to the value a mythic+ Reinier or a supreme+ Scarlita/Phraesto gives your account. I mean you simply can't, the gap is so massive. Besides you're forgetting that invite letters and diamond usage to get the standard roles is much easier to come by than arena coins, at the quantities needed to get these heroes. That is to say it's much easier to get all the arena store heroes by simply putting them on your wish list than it is to ever progress your celestials/hypogeans by the other available means. Since celestials/hypogeans are already meta in many different contents and this will likely only get worst due to power creep(though Talene was a step in the right direction in that regard), the importance of celestials/hypogeans over the factional heroes will only become more pronounced in the future.
Also why are you talking about Granny and Hewynn in the context of a PvP stalling team when Scarlita is literally the cornerstone of that team...? Hewynn is certainly nice in that team alongside Damian but you could easily replace her with any other healer for very similar results(just with a weaker faction bonus), similarly Granny can be replaced by Thoran or now Ulmus too for no major downgrade, not to mention Phraesto. Besides the stall team is not the only meta PvP team, the classic Eironn comp with either Carolina or Alsa is still plenty powerful(and very much in the meta) as well as various Scarlita and Phraesto teams(stall or otherwise). Also you're talking about paragon 1 and 2 whereas the absolute majority of your viewers, who aren't whales/dolphins, struggle to get their heroes to simply supreme+, even mythic+ in some cases. I mean for a whale/dolphin your stance might be correct, never bothered to check the value proposition of buying those stargazing packs compared to other things that give you regular and elite rolls, being a F2P player myself. So considering most of your audience is either F2P or light spender at most, talking from a whale's perspective is simply irrelevant to your audience.
Lastly you forgot about essences, especially yellow, which are mandatory to get the most out of most heroes. Both Granny and Hewynn in your example benefit greatly from ex+10 so just having them at mythic+ or even supreme+ but without the ex weapon isn't going to be nearly as strong. That's to say that your main bottleneck is actually yellow(and to a lesser extent blue) essences, even more so than ascensions. Since you're also getting other heroes(from the regular and elite rolls) you don't actually need too many heroes at mythic+/supreme+ before you can get the ex weapon on all of them. So in that sense investing in a singular celestial/hypogean hero instead of 3 arena heroes is actually more economical as you only need 1 ex+10 weapon rather than 3. But of course over time you will get them all to +10, it will just take a very long time as yellow essences are currently the scarcest resource, even more than stargazing tokens thanks to the arena store.
For f2p and low spenders are _stellar crystals_ top tier, no matter on pity-timer, because stellar units are ss+ tier for multiple modes.
Rest arena heroes are obtainable from standard banner and they are here in shop more likely, if you dont know what to buy, you will buy 1 copy/month, after you bought 10 crystals.

Im sorry but if I were to buy these s level characters and not the hypo/cele, there's a huge possibility that by the time i really got the hypo/celes' to s+ they are had already fallen off. It takes almost forever for us f2p to get a single celestial copy. Plus only a selected few units are the usable ones. For those who cant access the scamgazer in the store just get granny hewynn or rowan as he advised.

if you dont buy these you will fall behind. you can spend gems on growing your other hero's but you cant do that with stargaze. almost all top 20 and heck even top 40 have supreme plus scarlita. if you dont get them up there you will fall behind. that extra 10 pull a month cuts the time so much. you basically have to skip a week or 2 just to buy all those stargaze pulls then you can go back to buying a copy or 2 of other hero's again each month.
I see your point. I’m skipping the crystals myself to accelerate my progression towards Paragon. However it is really a case by case type of situation depending on the specific account.

Even from a spender's perspective, this is trash advice. Gazers are expensive as hell and their rates are so low that unless you are comfortable spending a couple of thousands per month on videogames, any free orb you can get is a must get. 10 orbs are 25$, you need 100$ to get a guaranteed cele/hypo. You need to get the same one 14 times to get them to S+, so with mix luck it is safe to say that getting any of those units to S+ requires like a thousand dollars.... You telling me not getting those orbs is a good idea....
I have a M+ Reinier and went two times to pity on stargazer and am now at 31. I think I will wait to buy new heroes in the guild store. Until I have enough resources for the next M+ hero we probably have our seventh stargaze hero in the game.
I'll still buy them because I got my lineup so every source of crystals is appreciated. 😊

i think your logic is fine but your math are not, for normal arena scarlita is the biggest progression an account can have and regular arena is the main source of arena points, supreme arena is a good income too but getting high rank there is less impactful and way harder, also for f2p who don t going to have all the celehypo units to run the meta dreamrealm teams reinier M+ is more important that any of the other heroes in guild shop, u say it a lot of times dreamrealm is the highest priority

Dude, you are in paragon, that's whale territory, not a single f2p is in paragon nor will it be in half a year unless you put money into the game, second, you are partly right that it is not worth buying the star crystals but ONLY if you are not trying to get celestials or hypogeans and what you are looking for is to get some of the arena shop heroes like igor, cecia, rowan, hewynn or brutus and cassadee to s+ as they are the only valuable heroes in the arena shop up to now (I know byron is good but not essential).
But otherwise, if you already have many of the arena shop heroes in s+, the right thing to do is to buy these star crystals to build little by little your celestials and important hypogeans like reiner, scarlita or pharesto, since it is the only way apart from the guild coins to get hypogeans and celestials.

Man stop giving people wrong ideas just bcs it is the right thing to do for the position you are sitting on, it does not mean it is wrong for others. Maybe you genuinely believe it or maybe you just do it to upload one more video or content, it is something only you will know. I say these confidently bcs i did the mistake of listening to you before and i regret it. You have a video about 5 crystals in the champion store uploaded on 21 May 2024 with title of "How to Spend your Hard-Earned Currency in AFK Journey! Emporium Shop Guide!", video is still up there. You -again- said don't buy these and the next week i hit champion rank and i ignored those for 2-3 weeks bcs that video was in my mind. 2-3 weeks later i thought it is stupid to ignore these and i started to buy them. If i would keep doing what you said i wouldn't have a M+ Reinier now as a f2p and i would even have more progress on my Scarlita now. These new ones also cost exact same price; 1200 each so it doesn't make any difference than buying the others. I don't say it is right or wrong to buy them, it is the decision players will make; they may prefer to buy hero tokens as well but saying it is wrong to buy crystals is just misinformation and you are misguiding players.
