Young's modulus or modulus of elasticity ( Physics ) in Tamil | Strength of Materials

Up to the elastic limit only, stress - strain ratio would be proportional and the ratio between the stress and strain is known as Young's modulus or modulus of elasticity.
Simply The value of youngs modulus determines the value of stiffness of the material.
In the most of times the poisson’s ratio exists from 0 to 0.5 lateral strain and linear strain
