They announced that Space Wolrd will be closed at the end of 2017. I am so sad since I loved this roller coaster....
It will return in 2021 at Himeji Central Park

That actually looks really intense and quite smooth. A little bit let down by the lack of any sort of obvious theme or scenery.

@@sauroncrafteddie5330 Yeah, that was the workaround. I was just joking that maybe it would have been better to plan for a continuous set of stairs when they were deciding where to put the support column. 🤔

I think my favorite parts of roller coasters are of course the first major drop and the loops. All the other stuff is pretty relaxing in comparison.

this place looks like it has some pretty good roller coasters. wish i could travel there.
They seem to be quite good at making very intense, pulse-pounding coasters.
Only Japanese coaster so far that doesn't look sketchy

With Space World closing, it'll be interesting to see what will become of Venus, Zaturn, and Titan coasters, and any other coasters, water rides, and flat rides there... hopefully they're being sold and relocated to other theme/amusement parks.
Venus GP has been relocated and will hopefully open this year if RCDB is to be believed
Zaturn was relocated to a park in Russia and has not reopened (sanctions causing lack of parts I'm guessing)
Titan was scrapped
it's a Maurer Söhne, designed by Stengel, with the Top Secret old Schwarzkopf techniques :op

Nice coaster, if it went slower over the hills I think it would create more airtime, and it coming into the station at quite some speed. Doesn't seem extremely smooth
I don't think so el toro is damn fast and it has ALOT of airtime.. oh its cuz its a wooden..
They was going to build space world about 5 miles from my house but the city I think didn't let it pass.

Anyone visiting Japan this year might want to make a stop at this park, because they just announced that they're closing down permanently by the end of December.

I hope the coasters can be relocated. Space World had some really unique rides and it’ll be a shame if they all get demolished.

No the sound is caused by the vibrations from the train making a roar sound in the supports

How big really is Mike, who's cheerful? =) I could see that clearance testing was enough for nearly 7' tall riders. Not that railings keep them out of touching, I guess.
