I'm a big Illustrator fan and I've been using it for decades. But I must say that the objects on a path feature was in Coreldraw 20 years ago. I remember that I could place objects on a path in between text. It's not something I spent much time worrying about or missing from Illustrator, but it's just interesting to see Adobe get this feature at this point. I'm sure I'll use it at some point.
CorelDraw has some features that are better than Illustrator, or that Illustrator has only recently introduced. For example, CorelDraw allows you to set shortcuts with a single letter, which is much more convenient; and you can change page size directly on the menu bar.
This is true. After almost 30 years of using Illustrator and using text on a path the whole time, I still just shake my head at how bad the implementation is. But there's something I realized in recent times. Text on a live shape in Illustrator causes problems that can be resolved if you make sure that the path is not live. Meaning, if you grab the circle tool and make a circle, that is a live shape with special properties. But, if you convert that shape to curves, it will lose it's live properties, but will cooperate with text on a path better. If you use the live shape, then start resizing things, the text might suddenly shift from the top to the bottom of the shape and weird stuff like that. Other than that, editing text on a path is still terrible. LOL You can grab the slider and flip text from outside the path to inside the path, but it goes wonky and start going all over the place. What I found decades ago was that the longer you held on to that control, trying to position the text where you want it, a crash was getting ready to happen. So I would grab the control, flip the text to inside the shape, the let it go quickly. Then I would grab it again, and try to position it where I want it to avoid the inevitable crash. I think it is still possible to crash illustrator this way. Adobe has never done anything to improve the way text on a path works in DECADES! LOL Why won't they improve it?
Genrative AI is great if your a moron using GAY i , to make 'artwork' that you didnt make and upload etsy. Not an artist. A businessman with a laptop. As for those who are keeping it real. Keep it up!

Yeaa, they implement the more important stuff into the program first, and with time they might add some other features too:D
Exactly what I was thinking, also the image trace in Corel is similar.

These are going to be very handy! Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome!
Thank you very much, you are a first class teacher of Adobe ❤
Thank you so much:D
Can't wait to try this
Do you think Illustrator same on Pc and Mac? Or Mac suprior?
Thanks ❤❤❤
Anytime!
This was great. But I found the pencil tool is not the same. Do you have tested it?
Yeah, the pencil tool is very broken after the update.
I checked it now, I saw the curves become sharp quite often
@@finesse4568 the Adobe forum confirms the situation. When we get a fix, it’s a mystery to me.
Bro made a straight copy of the original 2025 sneak peak
They should add this functionality to text because placing text on a circle is still very hamfisted and clumsy
I mean they got it already long time ago
@@PANTERvision yes, and it’s terribly implemented
@@gdnss Haha yea, it would be nice an update there too

The update was really pathetic in my opinion. I don’t know what they’re doing with our money.
