I think the most impressive thing about this show is the almost total lack of genuinely antagonistic forces. All the characters are just kind of doing what they do.
When that term hit mainstream that's all I could think of but whenever I would reference Squirrels in My Pants everybody was like "Um, what? Who? When?" Oh, you're a simp? Name all of the squirrels that were in Candace's pants >:(
She’s good on here but as Marceline she HOF status and the fact that Rebecca Sugar wrote them songs definitely boosted her talent like everything stays is one of the greatest songs I’ve ever heard
I think Olivia Olson was the best singer in the series, but in terms of who voiced their character best, Ashley Tisdale as Candace absolutely blew it out of the water. I don't think anyone could ever do Candace justice. The screaming is just on point
Phineas and Ferb has my favorite jokes out of any kids cartoon. “My parents didn’t even show up to my own birth!” Dark humor but kid friendly, I respect it 😂

My favorite thing about this show is probably Dr. Doofenschmeirtz. He's a nice change of pace on the old cliched scientist as he's actually quite smart and sane he just has poor planning skills. As It turned out later in Milo Murphy's Law he was never destined to be a villian all along but rather the hero of time. Plus it's nice to show a casual single dad expecially a divorced one. Not all divorces are bloody ones sometimes marriages just don't work out. Plus it's hilarious to think just how in the world Doof of all people could've won the divorce settlement to win the allamony payments and custody of daughter. He's a perfect father as he cares about his kid, and legitimately tries to improve his relationship with her. Lastly I love Milo Murphy's Law as whole too. It's a neat throwback to a Darkwing Duck style Spin Off. That being it's about a character from a different show but they're not the star someone else is. Thank you and good night.

Phineas and Ferb was...an experience, really. It came out at a time where I was getting "too old for cartoons" (so, like, 14, prime edge teen) and I immediately loved it. The songs, the atmosphere, Candace... ...and then somewhere around the middle of the third season, I stopped watching. It became repetitive to me and I'd missed out on the rest of its brilliance. *THAT'S IT, I'M REWATCHING IT.*

It was actually in the Across the 2nd dimension movie at one point. It was really surreal. Because I had known that they had read it at least heard of my fanfic by an interview that they did maybe 2 years before the movie (my fanfic was pretty infamous in the fandom at the time) but then it getting a joke had me in so much shock during the premiere. They also did some prize giveaways or some sort of contest for the premiere of the movie and I got 5 extra free entries to the draw because of it 😂 Its still so embarrassing and cringy to me, but it was that little joke in the movie when Phineas and Ferb are flying towards Doof's and Phineas says something like "look Ferb we're heading to that building that looks vaguely like your face" and there's a long pause and Ferb goes "huh." And like, that was the only and biggest plot point in this one fanfic and again because it was kind of infamous in the fandom at the time, the fandom all collectively stood up after reading this fanfic from 11 year old me and also went, "huh. Yeah weird." (This happened literally at the very beginning of the show and fandom)
When I was 12 I realised I was a Candice to my siblings and I felt so bad at first, hated the show. Then, I grew to love the entire thing and learned to laugh at myself and be more chill lol

Summer Belongs to You is nearly almost unmatched and is still INCREDIBLE. Across the 2nd D is amazing but not the same type of amazing if that makes sense

I know, my favorite thing about the show was how it was full of tiny jokes that you could easily miss. Like how Hank puts on safety glasses just to pick up a cordless drill and put it away.

One thing that I love about your videos Toonrific is of how your able to analyse the animation and art of the shows you review. Most cartoon reviews just review the writing of the show and/or just discuss the history of the show yet you are able to give some of your knowledge of animation by discussing these things that are seen as so little to most of the community. I also enjoy you getting the crew members of the show at times like with this and your Pound Family review.
It’s hard to say this show is underrated because so many older gen z kids love it but I’m still going to say, as far as the broader culture is concerned, it’s underrated. From the ages of 8 to 12-ish watching Phineas & Ferb was one of the main things me and my siblings did to bond with my dad. Even when I was too young to appreciate all the humor I remember my dad cracking up and even if I didn’t get the joke the fact that even an adult could enjoy it made me think it was hilarious.
I feel that way about King of the Hill. Haha I enjoyed it more for bonding with my dad as a kid. But as I got older I appreciated it more and more for my own reasons. Granted, one is an adult cartoon and one is a “kid” cartoon.
Aw literally same :’) one summer me and my sister and mom went to puerto rico to see extended family but my dad stayed home by himself and even though he was by himself with no kids there he still watched phineas and ferb on tv even without us there haha
I always found it interesting that Disney Channel only had a few standout Cartoons including Proud Family, Kim Possible, Phineas & Ferb, and Gravity Falls. Disney Channel is mostly known for sitcoms and their original movies.

Phineas and Ferb has got to be my favorite show of all time. I remember crying my eyes out the first time I watched "The Last Day of Summer". Like Robert said, it was like saying goodbye to a very close friends. This show has helped me through good and bad times in my life, and for you to make this video has helped bring back the child-like optimism that I had once had but lost due to private issues. Huge shout out and thank you to Dan, Swampy, Robert, Sue, the cast members and the crew who all helped make this masterpiece of a show. And finally, thank you Tariq for bringing back summer at the time of need.
im only ten minutes in but i am absolutely in love with the breakdown of the show's animation (not to mention how INSANELY COOL IT IS you got to talk to robert hughes...) this is exactly the show that got me into animation, big love to all the hard work you put into making this video, cant wait to finish it !!!!
i absolutely loved this video, thank you so much for making it!!! i watched the new movie with my family on friday, and we loved it. it was nice to see candace openly admit to her struggle with not feeling special, and the way her brothers immediately come to reassure her is so wonderful. it was a nice bout of nostalgia and it gave a sense of...i dunno, hope, i guess? in a time where everything seems so awful. and then this video just increased the nostalgia tenfold-i spent a lot of time smiling while watching it!
the show has a special place in my heart-every week my family would sit down and watch the newest episode together, and we’ve been huge fans ever since episode 1 came out. i was in second grade at the time, so me and my brother kinda grew up on the show too. we still binge the show every now and then when we need something fun and wholesome. i just feel really grateful that phineas and ferb exists.
When Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls were both still going strong, I had a silent hope in my heart that there would be a crossover between the two shows. And really, I think it could've worked. Both shows take place over the course of one summer, are about two siblings going on crazy adventures with their family, and the strange things going on in town. I feel like there could've been a lot of great character dynamic if they had ever decided to make that crossover. It would've been fun seeing how the different characters interacted. I don't think Bill Cipher would be in that episode if it existed. I like to think it would just be a fun, dumb, little crossover about Phineas and Ferb building something with Dipper and Mabel, then seeing some kind of paranormal event take place. Just having Lil' Gideon and Doof interact with each other would've been amazing to see. And I'm sure plenty of people would agree. Maybe someday, now that Disney+ is a thing, there could be a crossover movie, as a final celebration of two of Disney's best animated series in the past decade. It's not guaranteed, but maybe if we meme hard enough, it'll happen.
Phineas and Ferb came out when I was 2 years and I’ve been a fan ever since. It influenced me, it taught me to enjoy Summer, but most importantly, it made me love and appreciate animation. Without the show I wouldn’t be the same person I am today. It also made me think my dog was a Secret agent when I was gone

I'm a little older.... but I have actually never seen a single episode of Phineas and Ferb... When it came out, it was HEAVILY marketed that Ashley Tisdale from THE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL MOVIES was going to be a main character. She was also in the Suite Life which I actually did like in its first season, but by the time this came out I was so burnt out on High School Musical and by extension Tisdale, that their entire marketing leaning so heavily on her SPECIFICALLY as her character in HSM... I was just put in the mindset of "Oh no. not MORE of this." I was so over the "Disney Channel Female Pop Star" as a whole, to be honest. It was only when the show was already nearing its end that I heard talk of how good it was, and by that point I didn't have TV any more. It's probably something I should look into.

I watched every new episode as it came out and I remember Summer Belongs To You coming out and thinking that that was the end of the show. Now that I'm in college I realize how much the show actually shaped me and was an entire part of my life. It really was such a monumental show. Love your stuff Tariq really makes me cry n shit

Most cartoon reviews just review the writing of the show and/or just discuss the history of the show yet you are able to give some of your knowledge of animation by discussing these things that are seen as so little to most of the community. I also enjoy you getting the crew members of the show at times like with this and your Pound Family review.

It’s hard to say this show is underrated because so many older gen z kids love it but I’m still going to say, as far as the broader culture is concerned, it’s underrated. From the ages of 8 to 12-ish watching Phineas & Ferb was one of the main things me and my siblings did to bond with my dad. Even when I was too young to appreciate all the humor I remember my dad cracking up and even if I didn’t get the joke the fact that even an adult could enjoy it made me think it was hilarious.
I feel that way about King of the Hill. Haha I enjoyed it more for bonding with my dad as a kid. But as I got older I appreciated it more and more for my own reasons. Granted, one is an adult cartoon and one is a “kid” cartoon.
Aw literally same :’) one summer me and my sister and mom went to puerto rico to see extended family but my dad stayed home by himself and even though he was by himself with no kids there he still watched phineas and ferb on tv even without us there haha

I always found it interesting that Disney Channel only had a few standout Cartoons including Proud Family, Kim Possible, Phineas & Ferb, and Gravity Falls. Disney Channel is mostly known for sitcoms and their original movies.

Phineas and Ferb has got to be my favorite show of all time. I remember crying my eyes out the first time I watched "The Last Day of Summer". Like Robert said, it was like saying goodbye to a very close friends. This show has helped me through good and bad times in my life, and for you to make this video has helped bring back the child-like optimism that I had once had but lost due to private issues. Huge shout out and thank you to Dan, Swampy, Robert, Sue, the cast members and the crew who all helped make this masterpiece of a show. And finally, thank you Tariq for bringing back summer at the time of need.
im only ten minutes in but i am absolutely in love with the breakdown of the show's animation (not to mention how INSANELY COOL IT IS you got to talk to robert hughes...) this is exactly the show that got me into animation, big love to all the hard work you put into making this video, cant wait to finish it !!!!

i absolutely loved this video, thank you so much for making it!!! i watched the new movie with my family on friday, and we loved it. it was nice to see candace openly admit to her struggle with not feeling special, and the way her brothers immediately come to reassure her is so wonderful. it was a nice bout of nostalgia and it gave a sense of...i dunno, hope, i guess? in a time where everything seems so awful.
and then this video just increased the nostalgia tenfold-i spent a lot of time smiling while watching it!
the show has a special place in my heart-every week my family would sit down and watch the newest episode together, and we’ve been huge fans ever since episode 1 came out. i was in second grade at the time, so me and my brother kinda grew up on the show too. we still binge the show every now and then when we need something fun and wholesome. i just feel really grateful that phineas and ferb exists.

When Phineas and Ferb and Gravity Falls were both still going strong, I had a silent hope in my heart that there would be a crossover between the two shows. And really, I think it could've worked. Both shows take place over the course of one summer, are about two siblings going on crazy adventures with their family, and the strange things going on in town. I feel like there could've been a lot of great character dynamic if they had ever decided to make that crossover. It would've been fun seeing how the different characters interacted. I don't think Bill Cipher would be in that episode if it existed. I like to think it would just be a fun, dumb, little crossover about Phineas and Ferb building something with Dipper and Mabel, then seeing some kind of paranormal event take place. Just having Lil' Gideon and Doof interact with each other would've been amazing to see. And I'm sure plenty of people would agree. Maybe someday, now that Disney+ is a thing, there could be a crossover movie, as a final celebration of two of Disney's best animated series in the past decade. It's not guaranteed, but maybe if we meme hard enough, it'll happen.

Phineas and Ferb came out when I was 2 years and I’ve been a fan ever since. It influenced me, it taught me to enjoy Summer, but most importantly, it made me love and appreciate animation. Without the show I wouldn’t be the same person I am today.
It also made me think my dog was a Secret agent when I was gone

I'm a little older.... but I have actually never seen a single episode of Phineas and Ferb...
When it came out, it was HEAVILY marketed that Ashley Tisdale from THE HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL MOVIES was going to be a main character. She was also in the Suite Life which I actually did like in its first season, but by the time this came out I was so burnt out on High School Musical and by extension Tisdale, that their entire marketing leaning so heavily on her SPECIFICALLY as her character in HSM... I was just put in the mindset of "Oh no. not MORE of this."
I was so over the "Disney Channel Female Pop Star" as a whole, to be honest.
It was only when the show was already nearing its end that I heard talk of how good it was, and by that point I didn't have TV any more.
It's probably something I should look into.

I like how we don't see them. It's nice to see a casually blended family. To Phineas and Candace, their father is Lawrence. To Ferb, his mother is Linda. That's all that matters.
