I had to say goodbye to someone who meant everything to me. I was frustrated and lonely during our relationship. I didn't understand her struggle with bipolar, and she didn't offer any explanation for the way she acted. It seemed to be one step forward and two steps back constantly. I eventually said I can't do this anymore, and we split. But I missed her. And i was angry with myself for being impatient and selfish. I joined a group, partners of bipolar and learned what she was doing battle with on a daily basis. And it knocked me down. She walks through fire everyday. We are together again. I am careful, more patient, and i hope kinder. She's amazing. We're trying our best. We have the best thing possible on our side. We have love. ❤

I've been there. Even though I was hurt a lot, I had to apologize. Even though I couldn't date for years after that because I really loved them hard, but they began dating again in just a week from when we broke up because they were trying to "get over me", I still carry guilt and regrets. Still feel like I cannot truly find love cause karma will bite me back for leaving when they didn't want it to end. I hope I can heal someday. Cause really, no one wants to listen to the one who left.
