I am a Steam PC user here too, I was having trouble with accidentally forging my candles when I mainly try to type, the only purpose of why I don't forge is for having more satisfaction with my progress. Due to that, I changed my keybind from default R into "º" which the Spanish keyboard is located above TAB and 1 key. So if you have trouble with that, try changing the bind into a key you don't normally type.

@@still_your_zelda Cool. I'm a Playstation player, which means that forging candle, Seasonal candles, hearts, and Ascended candles are all mapped to the same button. So if I tried reserving that process, it means, I would have to stop forging everything else.
Sucks to play in ps and pc now I guess, since switch and mobile allows you to update currency separately since you touch the screen for it of you want (in switch only of course since L button too updates everythong cuz mobile its obvious you have to touch it)
At least it was satisfying?
That's why whenever I get a candle I immediately forge it.
