Please do not use long shank bits. When you see the pain in the horse's face you will know why I ask this.

These horses need to be protected from these people, no one should be touching these horses. Everywhere in north america it is illegal to touch wild horses, why not in b.c.?

Because the land belongs to the Xeni Gwet'in people, they've been doing it for a long time, a part of cultures. Though it is a two-sided problem.

"These people"? Please wake up out of your slumber and learn the history of the First Nations people, including the residential schools.

@@cherylmillard2067 You're the one in a slumber, i know very well the history of the indians in western canada and ancestral claims to the wild horses are insane because they were brought here by europeans. Wtf does residential schools have to do with this?

@@isailwind3471 Non-Native Europeans have interfered and told the indigenous what is best for them since their arrival on the North American continent, what "god" to believe in, where to live, stealing or taking by force land that was always theirs, later even forcefully taking their children to reeducate and destroy their language, culture and forcing them to assimilate into the white guys way of life, these children upon returning home found themselves strangers in their own home, that is the ones lucky enough to survive.
Horses were first brought to the US by the Spanish in the 15th century over 500 years ago, many First Nation Tribes integrated the horse into their everyday life, verbal histories and culture, even selectively breeding to perfect the Appaloosa, these were the Nez Perce. To argue that horses are not part of the First Nations ancestral rights shows a complete ignorance on your part.

@@cherylmillard2067 Here we go again with the constant regurgitation of the indian manual of plight. Guess what, north america is a conquered land, just like every other continent and country on the planet. My ancestors were driven off their "lands" and those men women and children that didn't escape were slaughtered and turned into slaves. There probably isn't a country on the planet that hasn't been at some time in history. So cry me a river because we don't feel bad that indian "lands" were conquered and offered education and healthcare which almost doubled their life expectancy, gee, how savage. Get over it already, the rest of the planet has.
No, ancestral rights are rights they had before they were conquered. With your rationalizations indians could claim firearms and be wandering around anywhere with a gun. If anyone has an ancestral claim to those horses it would be the french who brought them here in the first place.
Here's something most indians seem to have forgotten since they discovered lawyers... The land doesn't belong to the people, the people belong to the land.
