Specimen Retrieval (a Halo Mega Construx Stop Motion)

Three ONI agents are sent to retrieve a specimen for Weyland Yutani. Unfortunately, they come across unknown horrors. If they don’t make it, no one will remember them. They are expendable.

Amazing work man! I was getting some Backrooms vibes at the start, which really set the tone. The cave set was really nice as well, the lighting was top notch and the ONI agents' helmet filters really matched the style. Fantastic job with this.

Nice job man! This was a phenomenal passion driven masterpiece! The lighting was really well done with that dark yet slightly blue and white lighting that matched the lighting in alien. The set was really impressive (the clay sculpture looked very organic). The dialogue was really well written and helped show some charater development and personality which added to the endgame the by the viewer (I mean the instance where one of the marines teased the other about the ‘nightlight’). The audio was fantastic with the soundtrack being really well matched to the film and adding to the suspense and horror. The voice acting was particularly good and the audio editing on the lines was really well done also. The animation was smooth for the most part but could have been worked on but that’s a minor issue that doesn’t take away from the video itself. Some small problems were at one point the reflection of a tv on the sets floor, some some of the editing not being as clean, lack of ambiance etc... but nevertheless those are small details.
Overal this was your best work yet and has given me fresh motivation for Atlas. What I enjoyed the most about this film was the aesthetically pleasing atmospheric concept you created here with little subtle things like how tv glitch, lighting, soundtrack, static crackles on the voice lines etc.. which all really made this uncannily like the original alien on every way (lighting, story, visual storytelling, audio etc...) really impressed man! You’ve given me some ideas for my own film also...
