I went up that walkway/steps around 40 years ago. As a fit 21 year old just out of the army I was staying with a friend who had an apartment up there. That brings back many memories but it has all changed totally since then with shops, apartments etc. At the top to the right there is a hotel which is a member of the leasing hotels of the world and am sure a fantastic place to stay. Thank you for bringing back those lovely times

It was.. The old town architecture still was the prevailing style and very interesting. A lot of people don’t like the town as it dosent enjoy the daily sun the South of the island does. But as a place to enjoy from a scenic point of view it reigns supreme

Enjoyed the walk and chat! We thinking of going to give Tenerife another try maybe north side better for us don’t like busy tourist areas full of British bars etc. La palma in February . One of our favourites islands is Gran Canaria staying in a hotel in mountains but now in my mid 70s find the drive up bit tiring. So maybe north Tenerife for February 24

But we have just booked a week in March for mine & my friends birthdays. 😁🍹🥂 we went to Los Cristianos in 2019 and we enjoyed it, but really looking forward to getting back to Puerto de la Cruz. We are staying just near the Plaza del Charco 🌴🌴 down by the harbour in an air b&b apartment so loads of bars/restaurants near by. 😉 Also myself and my partner went to Lanzarote a few years back, went on a couple of trips, went to Jameos del Agua the caves are amazing and walked through the large volcanic tube. Fantastic day out. And went to see Cesar Manriqe's House/museum. So beautiful. And yes i love his art work too, very quirky. 😆 Anyway thanks for the video im going to go watch a few more now. Adios amigo. 😁😎👍

I know Puerto De La Cruz pretty well, having been going for well over 15/16 years or so now. But never been to this part of the Agura Bar & Cafe. .I'll be there this year as well.
@@LivingWalks I did, and some mornings I'd walk to that walkway and around past that cafe as well. It's wonderful. I go in September this year as well.

2024.06 byliśmy w Puerto de La Cruz przez 15 dni, mieszkaliśmy w hotelu H10 ( I linia brzegowa) korzystaliśmy z plaży Martinez / wspaniały obiekt/ , zwiedzaliśmy Teneryfę co 2 dzień, jako atrakcję- zwiedzanie było z wykorzystaniem komunikacji miejskiej autobusowej - znakomicie skomunikowanej z dobrymi autobusami / punktualne/. Film pokazuje centrum / starą część/ a szkoda bo nowoczesna część kurortu z promenadami i czarnymi plażami jest śliczna. Nie było czasu się nudzić - zawsze codziennie chodziliśmy na wspaniałe włoskie lody przy Plazza. Ten pobyt był wyłącznie jako zwiedzanie najstarszej części Teneryfy z jej atrakcjami. Na Teneryfie południu byliśmy już 3 krotnie. 😊

Thank you for posting... however for me i lost interest quickly... Would of been nice to have a short vedio just to show the high lights...to me ots just streets and more streets the town doe's not look all that good.
It's just a slow paced walkaround video. Nothing wrong with it. Some prefer this to a fast higlight b-roll video. I also think the chattery fits better into these slow videos.
