The driveline socket, you can also buy the driveline or headbolt set which includes 12, 13, 1/2, and 3/8. Longer extension with a slim body for clearance around the ujoint knuckle
have seen the driveline/head sockets you are talking about, one of these days might check on the longest one i can get for the 16mmas would help nicely for the starters on the cngs with how they are clocked. Hope you have a good weekend!
You threw me for a loop Brandon. I had another tab open while the ad was playing and thought I'd accidentally clicked on an RTR video. LOL Great recommendations all around.
Good videos this past week. I found your channel years ago when Mike's Tool Shed recommended you in one of his videos. He hasn't done much in the last year, but he had a new video this week. Made me feel nostalgic.
Thank you catsup, yeah, saw mikes vid, been quite a while since he put any out, and with all that went on, well, family and life happens to us all. was good to see him too though. yeah, i remember couple years back when we were coming up through the tubes. hes hella guy.
lol thanks doug! however hft carrying real specialty sockets sometimes... well... thats what northern is for lol. hope you are doing well up there in the great pacnw
Any reason why you have to use a extra deep 3/4 I only work on cars and wanted to pick one up just in case. But why can’t you just use a bit of a extension?
Well, we use them alot on brake chambers, where you have a 4 -5 inch long 1/2" caging bolt, and tighten with a nut, and the bolt extends inward to the socket, as to where a regular socket it too short and wouldnt cage the chamber all the way. It is an air actuated sytem, quite a bit different for actuation unlike conventional juice brakes. Good question though, and if you have any other questions on it let me know. Heck, might even make for a good vid going into explanation of it. Hope you have a good weekend!

I borrow once and if I think I may need one I buy it. I am a bit spoiled and share space with a Snap On dealer so I get to try before I buy.

5/8 12 point will sometimes fit tighter than the 16mm. Good to have both though
I have both in deep, but only the 16 in shallow unfortunately, but does come in handy either way! thank you for watching!
