    Holy shite! It's you!! 19 year old beginner me saw your through the never cover 6 years ago! It was mind blowing for me, you played so effortlessly! It looked so cool! Remember picking up my guitar and practicing that song for hours after watching your video! Thank you for the inspiration! So glad I came across this channel again!

    I was blown away by the imagination and experimental feel of animals as leaders last album the madness of many, but this kind of takes me back to their weightless album's electronic sounds mixed with some of the feel from "inner assassins" in some of the thumping parts towards the end. this is the exact direction I was hoping they would advance to. all of my favorite bands are coming in clutch, i was also very pleased with Chon's new album "Chon".

    Hello from South Carolina in the United States.
    Oh my God!!! I’ve been sitting here for an hour watching videos of you playing. I can’t believe you called yourself a crappy guitarist in the title of this video!!!! Watching you play, my mind has been absolutely blown many times over the last hour! I used to be pretty good on guitar before I married, but I got away from it. My wife just past away and I decided to pick it up again. Now, almost 30 years later I’m having to learn everything all over again. But you, you play amazingly well!!!

    Animals have been insane on the time signature side the way polyphia has been with
    The arpeggio and tap side lol if the 2 collabed… 🤯 you should react to any of the new Memphis May Fire tracks. Death inside maybe?

    • @adityanadgauda
      @adityanadgauda 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@JGBDYT honestly i haven't heard any other band even remotely similar to the Animals as Leaders sound. They are extremely unique in that regard. Mainly because of two techniques they heavily use, Thumping and Selective Picking both of which Tosin basically invented and they are really tricky to pull off. That along with Matt Garstka's inhuman drumming. But the techniques are getting popular so in the next few years maybe there'll be more bands putting out similar stuff, Polyphia's already started doing stuff with Thumping so you should check them out. As for the polyrhythms, if you like AAL in that regard, you should check out Meshuggah, Pomegranate Tiger, The Helix Nebula, Scale The Summit, Exivious and Trioscapes.

    • @losferwords100
      @losferwords100 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@blindsidexv6244 They really do if they want to reach a wider audience and not just attract hipster, elitist musicians lol. Good songs get remembered for lifetimes and you need a singer for that to be possible. This is why they'll never be as big as Periphery or Dream Theater or any other bigger prog metal band even though they deserve to be. They're forever stuck as an opening act as long as they stay as instrumental only. At least get some guest vocals or something for a few songs and it's not like they have to stop doing instrumentals just because they have a singer too. They can easily still do both.

    • @blindsidexv6244

      @@blindsidexv6244 And be a band that's completely forgotten in the long run? Yeah, I guess there's that. I'd rather them be remembered and for that, they need a vocalist. That's all I'm saying. Nobody really cares about instrumental music in the grand scheme of things and it's a very small niche that do.

    • @blindsidexv6244

      @@losferwords100 you act like every band that has vocals is gonna be remembered forever. AAL is already more popular than a lot of bands with vocals. I guess I have a hard time understanding this ridiculous logic lol.

    Word of advice: Don't pause the song in the middle. It really breaks up the flow. Voice coaches do it, but I don't think it's appropriate for other types of reactions.

    • @pawz007

      Word of advice: unsolicited advice is not needed in most scenarios. This is a reaction, not the actual song so the flow is less important. If you want to hear the song and its flow go watch the original.
