I'd argue and say the Saudi guy DID cost him the match. Because he threw off the timing of the punch. Logan was stalking his opponent for the perfect timed punch but with the distraction from the Saudi guy, gives Codi more time to recover, Logan turns around and delivers a late punch that was countered. The Saudi guy had an effect on the results.

Not enough people are giving Lyra Valkyria her flowers, so I will. This was a great first showing for her on her main roster PLE debut. While not many people expected her to win, she put on a great performance and proved that she belongs on the main roster now. She's a very athletic in ring technician and striker who can sell her ass off. On top of that, she's got a cool look and an even cooler entrance. She is absolutely going to be a big star going forward as she continues to expand her character and her match catalog.
Not that I haven't recognized her talent on NXT/Raw so far, but she exceeded my expectations in that match. She definitely put herself on the map for those who aren't as familiar with her.

The 3 cross rhodes bothered me for the reason that i believe that doing it 3 times should be feeling special. It should be for defeating someone who could be a really big threat and that doing 3 cross Rhodes should be done when cody literally has nothing left, except for doing it 3 times such as beating Roman at Mania XL. Cody had nothing left and Roman was a big threat to Cody. It was special. In this case, Cody could’ve easily won with just 1. It felt like he did it 3 times just because. Maybe im just picky about doing the cross rhodes three times, but it just feels like cody is going to pull that out in every match and it won’t feel special anymore

I actually loved Logan vs Cody. With Logan being a menace and trying to prove himself and Cody being aggressive and acting confident and like Logan isn’t on his level. The KOTR Final should've been the main event of the show because firstly, GUNTHER VS RANDY WAS STRAIGHT UP 10 STARS (Although 10 stars kinda arguable cuz Gunther no sold the RKO in the end), but man the match was awesome, from my pov the best match of the night. Secondly, the event itself is KQOTR so at least have any final main event the show named after it ffs.....

i don’t necessarily hate the rhodes v paul finish because the stakes weren’t that high. the match wasn’t for double championships n it wasn’t an insanely built blood feud. it sorta felt like a filler exhibition, not in a bad way, but in the sense that it was a lighthearted, superhero moment for a saudi show. however they could’ve definitely handled an interference much better. in the moment it felt so random. woulda been better if maybe the bloodline got involved starting to kick off rhodes vs rock, or wyatt 6

It could be easily fixed. LA knight stops Paul, hits a BFT, Cody does his cross rhoads (just 1, the triple Cross Rhoads should be for big threats like Roman) for the win. Next show, Knight says he did it as Paul got the title shot before he did after all the work and sacrifice he's given the industry and Paul just pulls some political strings and gets another 1 on 1 world title shot. Sets up Paul v Knight for the US championship.

Watch Party Question PLEASE Answer 😢 Was there ever reason given for not being able to watch the watch party replays on twitch? I almost always watch the PLEs after everyone else is asleep and being able to sync the WP replay with it gives me the feeling I am still watching with this awesome huge group of friends…I loved the PLE last night, but the minute “Monster Queen Nia” ‘Zuna’d Lyra’s innards across the entire Saudi kingdom I immediately felt very alone watching it, I needed someone to react to that (and many other things throughout) with. No, i'm glad that at least 1 NXT call up made it to the finals. Raw is currently lacking credible babyfaces in the women's division other than Becky. They needed to build up a new babyface star like Lyra, and making it far in the tournament and beating a former champion like Iyo is how you build her credibility.

Maybe im just picky about doing the cross rhodes three times, but it just feels like cody is going to pull that out in every match and it won’t feel special anymore
Cody did more than three cross rhoades on Roman Reigns, pretty sure he did like 8 finishers in total on the night.
I agree that I'm not a fan of the 3 CrossRhodes, but in this instance, I think the explanation can easily be that Cody didn't *need* to do 3 on Logan, but he *wanted* to do 3 to Logan to prove a point. Like a "I'm gonna fuck you up more than I usually would just to put you in your place" kinda thing.
He should just use the vertabreaker as his finisher. He kept overused the crossroads for no reason

I actually loved Logan vs Cody. With Logan being a menace and trying to prove himself and Cody being aggressive and acting confident and like Logan isn’t on his level. It felt like their promos became the match. The finish was trying the hometown guy helping the good guy and stopping the bad guy from cheating
The Saudi guy interfering is the same as Bad Bunny interfering in Dom vs. Rey. He stopped him from cheating, he didn't cost him the match.

The KOTR Final should've been the main event of the show because firstly, GUNTHER VS RANDY WAS STRAIGHT UP 10 STARS (Although 10 stars kinda arguable cuz Gunther no sold the RKO in the end), but man the match was awesome, from my pov the best match of the night. Secondly, the event itself is KQOTR so at least have any final main event the show named after it ffs.....

I honestly don’t get the disappointment in removing the US title from the picture. Didn’t we get something like this in 2019, Hell in a cell, where seth couldn’t lose, and The fiend couldn’t lose, so we were all like “oh humpty, how are WWE gonna get out of this one” and when they did a no finish, we were all (understandably) pissed. I see Cody vs Logan the same way, even if WWE pivoted with a non finish, we were still going to be pissed. So removing the US title was THE RIGHT MOVE
With rumors of Corey Graves coming out of retirement, I thought him and Logan were going to get physical.
I think the Logan and Cody match was just fine we knew Cody was gonna win no matter what so having the US title on the line really does nothing we know the outcome and the ending as well I was okay with because that wasn’t the right crowd for Howdy and it made no sense for LA Knight to interfere I also think having a long match like that end in a DQ or something would be wack
Good show - decent main event - 7.5/10 overall. Not a bad show by any means but not absolutely amazing. 7.5 seems fair.

i don’t necessarily hate the rhodes v paul finish because the stakes weren’t that high. the match wasn’t for double championships n it wasn’t an insanely built blood feud. it sorta felt like a filler exhibition, not in a bad way, but in the sense that it was a lighthearted, superhero moment for a saudi show. however they could’ve definitely handled an interference much better. in the moment it felt so random. woulda been better if maybe the bloodline got involved starting to kick off rhodes vs rock, or wyatt 6
Now that you mention it, it would have been better if say LA Knight did what the comedian did. Not only would it make more sense but it could build to their potential match at Summerslam. Despite that Cody v. Logan was an absolute blockbuster of a match.

Next show, Knight says he did it as Paul got the title shot before he did after all the work and sacrifice he's given the industry and Paul just pulls some political strings and gets another 1 on 1 world title shot. Sets up Paul v Knight for the US championship.

The Triple Crossroads shouldn’t be used so lightly. It should only be reserved for “final boss” type opponents, not characters like Logan Paul.
The funny part is if you looked closely - which I immediately did once he got up for a second one - you'd see that Paul was basically out cold from one. Eyes closed, arms limp.

I just feel that the match would melt eyes and from a match standpoint, it would be more than deserving of a WM main event. Only problem would be finding a great story to tell however lesser stories have been told and still made WM main events.

Was there ever reason given for not being able to watch the watch party replays on twitch? I almost always watch the PLEs after everyone else is asleep and being able to sync the WP replay with it gives me the feeling I am still watching with this awesome huge group of friends…I loved the PLE last night, but the minute “Monster Queen Nia” ‘Zuna’d Lyra’s innards across the entire Saudi kingdom I immediately felt very alone watching it, I needed someone to react to that (and many other things throughout) with.
Also the Nia/Triple H moment … I just was so happy for her, and then I laughed as you could see her realize she had to put her RBF back on and deliver her “Summer of Squash Squash Squash” exit the ring promo.
I think the spot the comedian had should’ve been for LA Knight if they are going that route, he was right there in front he crowd.

No, i'm glad that at least 1 NXT call up made it to the finals. Raw is currently lacking credible babyfaces in the women's division other than Becky. They needed to build up a new babyface star like Lyra, and making it far in the tournament and beating a former champion like Iyo is how you build her credibility.
