Once I tried it 3-4 months back, it had some limitations as per my usecase, will give it a try now again

The good part of this tool is the extensible plugin. You can create your own plugin just like Backstage. Very close to Internal Developer Platform concept where developer can build and customize any UI page that they want to present in Headlamp

I must say that this has way better UX than the Lens , I installed Headlamp-0.22.0-linux-x64 - and it works flaw less. Specially the on boarding process is so smooth, I still have to try applications etc. I hated Lens for it's right side bar which was not easy to navigate when you were looking for details this almost open everything in popups in the middle.

I wouldn't call it better, but there is potential. The web version with SSO is a big part. It's still missing embedded console and is a bit buggy, but it's already a great foundation.
