Mahoromatic was first anime and I'm kinda glad that it was, it was perfect I remember laughing and then being sad as the series went on , I legit think I cried a bit near the end

It was around the time where I finally got back into anime culture after thinking I was done with it, and it basically was my return to weebdom lol. I got so hooked into the show, that I still have some of the OST as my text and ringtones. Thanks for this review - it took me back!
Thought I was the only one that set a Mahoromatic BGM song as a ringtone lol. I clipped down a version of "Yes, It Is Me" back in 2013 and unexpectedly got a lot of compliments on it. I think part of it had to do with it not sounding like a custom made tone lol
Yeah this show is nostalgic for me, early 2000s was so GOOD (especially the art in animes) ! Mahoro is too cute and once you notice her seiyuu it's even better ;P
I'm really glad you made this video. Mahoromatic is love. You should also see Ai Yori Aoshi. It's the most surprising anime I've ever seen in many ways. Everything you expect an anime drama show to do to its characters, this show dodges and goes somewhere else.
I watched Mahoromatic during my GAINAX marathon. It saved my brain from brain rot (until I had to take a break around a certain point...Jesus...) when I tackled the less than good anime GAINAX made. Did you watch the OVA or the 2009 two parter Shaft did?
For those into moe cute robot girls, watch ToHeart. HMX-12 Multi is one of the best robot girls in anime history, imo. Ah, she's voiced by legendary seiyuu Horie Yui.
May have been a random pick up anime but that shit was gold saw it back when it came out every episode lifts you up with her bright personality just to gut punch ya when the episode ends with BTW she gonna die in x amount of days
*Manga Spoiler!* When the Moon-Asteroids were on the way, the Calmness Shown in the world was something very very very unique Asteroid-Strike Scenario. Wayy better than usual 'We're all gonna die' screaming & chaos shown in other medias Asteroid strike Scenarios. The Friendship & Chess-game Part felt Really Cool. & Her Welcoming Him back with the AjisaiNoSakuNiwaDe song at the very end wouldv'e been Hellalot Beautifull.
**SPOILER ALERT, TALKING ABOUT THE ENDING** There was something about the final episode that I never understood. We know that Mahoro was dead for 20 years at this point, so here comes my question; How did she suddenly came back to life? Even Mahoro was confused that where she was when she got back to real world.
A It's better explained in the manga. Basically, Mahoro as a robot is actually linked to Michael, the leader of the Saints, because her creation involved using Michael in some form. Michael is a very enigmatic being who's abilities are unknown, but it's implied in the anime, Michael basically held on to Mahoro's memories. When the saints left earth, Michael discarded their memories on earth, which culminated into Mahoro's re-creation. The manga has a different answer and one that makes a lot more sense.

That feeling you get when you discover who Mahoro's voice actress is and realize the overglaring significance in her roles in Fate and To Heart.
Takeuchi's apparently a fan of this franchise so I wouldn't be surprised if Mahoromatic is a reason Ayako got the role of Saber
