Did they specify what time the spa closes and that the water park was closed when you booked the room? If not you could’ve probably gotten a good chunk of money back or at least credit towards a future visit.
By now we can probably confirm that Sheldon suck at spending money. He literally had $1000 the whole day and only ate cupcakes, sodas, and a plate of pasta. Not to mention him wearing that robe all day is cringy af. But good on him for inviting the boys to the nice hotel.

I admit it's a bit of a gamble with hotels. I've been in some great cheap, yet very decent hotels by the beach and have been in some bad pricier hotels (in on I actually had to complain for a room change because our room had mold) and extra stuff like breakfast that werent worth it.
