The Longview High School Marching Band performed at the UIL Region 21 Marching Band Contest on November 18, 2020 at Carthage High School Bulldog Stadium in Carthage, TX.

These are my opinions as follow and in no way meant to hurt or offend just some feedback from a spectator some positive and critique for each band. Love the crescendos and the low brass in the marches, terrific sounding especially how cold it was. I love when a military bands play different marches and goes above and beyond from the typical marches played by other military bands or the same one year after year. The intro fanfare was powerful at set the tone for the what to expect in the rest of the performance. The first march was played terrifically!!! The video does not accurately portray how the band sounds live but is close enough, very very powerful and your directors should be proud of the performance yall gave. Honestly this was my favorite performance of the night, hands down! Also love how the Majorettes march in such unison and precise and at attention, the best accompany out of any military marching band that I have ever seen. The formation at 7:55, I love when a military bands take risks with those types of formations. The only thing I would critique is I wish I would see the Drum Major (Majorettes) march with the band like in the 90’s/ early 2000’s many great example on TH-cam, but other than that great performance and congrats at earning Sweepstakes and earning 71 years of 1st Division ratings!
