I'm not hurting for money anymore, but I still sign up for these focus groups to make an extra hundred and I find the cheapest shit for the best value. We get what we want because we work for it. Harder than the average person. At the same time, when we love ppl, we use that money to provide for them, even if it's just a friend and not a partner. That's how we show love

I will say, tho, that our internal code of ethics is too strong for us to do anything egregious for money. We will just find another way to get it if it harms others. Especially those of us who are anti-oppressive and anti-capitalist. It's not that we like the game itself necessarily; some of us do feel that class inequality should be eliminated entirely. We do, however take pride in knowing how to play the game well--so well that we can provide for others and offer them a secure life. Interesting topic.
