A lot of people don’t even use amps or mics and plug their guitar straight into the interface to the computer. I chose not to do that because I have a nice amp and wanted to use it, even though that meant I would have to spend money on a mic(I’m not sure if you can connect an amp directly into an interface). Plus it just sounds so much better w a mic imo. GL tho! I’m sure you’ll find a setup that works for you
Spider iv 15 watt amplifier on the “insane” setting. + chorus, reverb, and spreader added in GarageBand. The “tone” knob on my guitar is set to 5 usually.
