- Once you admit there is any power outside yourself, and that power is thought, however beneficent you may conceive it to be, you’ve sown the seed which must sooner or later bear the fruit of fear, which is the entire ruin of life, love, and liberty.
I repeat that because you should ingest it in your bloodstream. You should write it in your heart, indelibly. You should think about it 1,000, 5,000 times a day. When your thoughts are God’s thoughts, God’s power is with your thoughts of good. That’s the meaning of, “One with God is a majority, and if God be for you, who on earth can be against you?”
The suggestions of others have no power to create the things they suggest. The creative movement is in your own thought: “In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word.” “Was God,” means it was created from an individualistic standpoint, for the only immaterial power you know is thought, and therefore your thought is the power.
The thoughts of others have no power except when you accept that thought, and that which you accept becomes the movement of your own thought.
Realize therefore that your own thought and feeling creates your destiny. To believe something is to accept it as true. What you decide to be true with your conscious mind, you will experience with your subconscious mind on the screen of space. That’s wonderful.
When you decide to be true, whatever you decide to be true, in your conscious mind, you will experience with your subconscious mind. Therefore believe that God or infinite intelligence is guiding you. Right action reigns supreme. Divine law and order governs you. Divine peace fills your soul.
Begin to believe in all these things. You don’t create these things, but you activate them, make them potent in your life.
Your subconscious beliefs dictate control and manipulate all your conscious actions.
Begin now to believe, claim, feel, and know that God is guiding you in all your ways. The divine law and order, Heaven’s first law, govern all your activities. The divine right action governs you at all times. God is prospering you in all ways, and you’re inspired from on high.
As you accept these truths with your conscious mind, your subconscious will bring all these things to pass, and you will discover that all your ways are pleasantness, and all your paths are peace. If you don’t do your own thinking and your own praying, the mass mind will move in upon you and do all your thinking for you. It will manipulate you.
Then you’ve put yourself in prison, the prison of fear and of sickness. Do your own thinking-don’t let your mother-in-law do the thinking for you. Don’t let the radio generate your emotions for you. Control your own emotions.

Hello Brian, my life journey bought me to your channel several years ago. I had much sadness and loss , I was confused and looking for answers. I love the teachings of N Goddard, J Murphy as well as all of the other great ppl you have introduced me to. The power of imagination and believing in myself has rewarded me with everything I’ve asked for. I live in NZ which came down hard on unvaxxed ppl during covid. I couldn’t work , my husband had to retire early bc of ill health. We had to sell our house and downsize. In returned I asked for a 3 bed home with 2 bathrooms, a work place, to be mortgage free and to live in the ‘posh’ part of town. We bought an old shop by the beach and converted it to our beautiful home that has everything I asked for. This is just one example of the many things I’ve visualised and asked for. I sometimes doubt myself and try to be mindful of my thoughts. I am so grateful to you for your hard work in bringing these fabulous lectures to us. I loved this mornings’ episode , it gave me another nudge to book our trip to Europe later this year, don’t think about the money, it’ll come😃. Sending you love and blessings Namaste

I remember once I ate a large burrito, and had eaten a large breakfast that day too at a company function. One of my coworkers said , “You ate ALL THAT?!” You’re gonna get SICK!” I told her no that I felt fine and it wasn’t too much food for me, but a few minutes later her words got to me. I started believing I might get sick because it was a lot of food, and unfortunately a couple of hours later I did get sick! 🤮 I felt 100% fine before but the power of suggestion did get to me and started messing with my mind. 😂😅
The power of suggestion is how a hypnotist works and does shows in front of amazed audiences, some it appears are hynotized and do some really silly things they wouldn't normally do yet some it appears can't be hypnotized and to me this always said that the only reason he can hypnotize some people is that they totally believe he has that power even if they say they didn't believe he would be able, the others really don't believe he can have them under his power and this suggests to me these people have self control and something in thier subconscious blocks something in thier brain because they like to have self control

Brian, I have listened to this twice and love it! As for the Voodoo, if we believe in the quantum and all things negative and positive that can be forwarded onto another, we have to believe in Voodoo, albeit it just a word. There is the known desires and the unknown intent of others that may wish harm via their culturistic often ancient ways of "cursing" outside of known power of suggestion. So, though the description may be debated, the power of what they do is as real as the prayer of feeling. Let me share a quick example: My wife, a very positive loving person, was promised pears from a neighbor's tree. A very hardy strong tree for years. The neighbor just let them all fall and rot and she was truly upset as she comes from a very poor country province and childhood. She said to me; "I curse that tree" and the next day or two, we could see it beginning to die. They cut it down a few weeks later. Bottom line, whatever the label, known or unknown, negative and positive, the power of believe and intent on any side is a beautiful and dangerous power. I am light and I am the darkness. I give life and take life. I am all things. Something like that. :) All The Best!

Me and the father of my child have no relationship at this point. We went from cordial to him behaving in ways i dont understand, saying things that he shouldnt say. People have said that he was attacked by juju(Voodoo), at a time I believed them, it drove me crazy to be honest. But now i choosing to give evil no acknowledgment, i am choosing to believe that we can beautifully co parent our son, i am choosing to believe that our relationship is repaired and healed. I choosing to see beauty in all that concerns me and my child . Though apart, i am choosing to think of him in a positive light everyday. I know you dont know me, but please join me in believing, i dont know where is he right now but im choosing to believe that our love, our thoughts and our prayers will reach him.

Upon listening to this
Kim Walker immediately came to mind.
Kim Walker who played Heather Chandler died of a brain tumor. The character that she played had an infamous quote in the 1989 movie Heathers that went along the lines of this, "Did you have a brain tumor for breakfast? I'm always red."
Another one is the inspiration of Freddy Krueger. The inspiration came from a boy who was so terrified of going to bed due to a monster in his subconscious always chasing after him. He was so terrified of the thought of dying through sleep because of that demonic figure constantly chasing after him in his dreams, that after sleep deprivation the boy finally fell asleep and eventually did in fact die in his sleep.
The voodoo curses always intrigued me, I personally was into voodoo and brujería for a bit (FYI, never baneful though), I pretty much stopped when I realized that spells (and prayers) are merely the tangible progress of intention and nothing else.

Hallo Brian and rest of the guys....
First of all, don't want spread the hate or something like that, I have just a couple a questions.
Is Joseph Murphy occultist or is he in a witchcraft? I don't want to offend somebody, just want hear your opinions.
I am a Muslim, not a practionar but I know that Islam strectly, and christianity, forbid such a stuff like a occultism and witchcraft.
I've read Murphy's book as well as Neville's to, and that sound all great...but, is allways in my head that such a thing like practising these teaching is not from God.
Like example, on yt we have some so called teachers who teaches how to manipulate with others, manifesting SP, apperaence change and so on, and they are saying that they learned that form Murphy, Neville and others 'New Tought' teachers. That ist, in Islam, obviously a witchcraft and occult and is haram, strict forbiden. It says that time will come when people will saying all kind of things that no men ever heard before, and all that stuff with false prophets and so on, that people will statt to think that they are gods or something like that.
I am aweare that youre thinking can make you good or bad, but I am very confused with Murphy, while his teaching mentions allways God. Like example, another new tought teacher Emmet Fox, were saying all we must do, when we are in problem, is to think on God and his greatnes. That is in Islam called Dhikr, thinking of God-LaIllaheillah(there is only one God, or ther is no god beside God)
