Interesting talk. I was hoping the professor could go into the rabbinic tradition of the mountain being held over the Israelites when they accept the Torah. It seems that a version of this same story appears in the Quran but if I'm not mistaken it appears in the Gemara section of the Talmud for Judaism which comes later than the Quran, so what is the exact relation of these texts?
