i can see Mk1 Sektor actually working if she is the daughter of the original Sektor. Supposedly Sektor has retired so she takes over.
Same for Cyrax too
They did say that the father was an expert engineer so it could be a possibility

Smoke was lowk done dirty this dlc, he got one line and was beat by Cyrax and that’s it. I’m pretty sure Yuri wasn’t even doing the motion capture like he did in the main story because Smoke’s face looked weird compared to the main story

Personally, the new Cyrax and Sektor are good characters, but they are not even close to equaling the classics. As always, the community doing the work that companies lately do not do.

@tretrefairman I thought about the idea of Cyrax and Sektor either being code names or family names, then you could have a brother and sister duo for each. We'd have our boys back and have a cool new female iteration still.
I really hope the male human counterparts get added. It would actually motivate me to play Sektor or Cyrax.

@mrmemes170 No I wouldn't but if they made Kitana a man and then a mod made Kitana a woman again, I wouldn't find the female version more interesting. I don't like that they changed the gender either but changing the gender has nothing to do with how interesting they are.

This makes me more sad given that we will probably never see the male versions appear playable on a roster for at least another decade.
The real Sektor and Cyrax have not been playable since MK9 and fast forward to now and it’s been 13 years only for them to be NPCs in MK11 and then turned into kameo only characters in MK1 and then having cheap copies take their place on the main roster with a disappointing story expansion that was not worth $50.
The price is fair though the expansion is a bundle when you think about it, the character pass is minimum 30 and the dlc story is 20. Not to mention all the free skins that will cost 5 each to anyone who doesn't own khaos reigns. The Only thing that bugs me is the "Early access" we have rn for sektor cyrax and noob. I'm hoping it's just a week for y'all but if not that is genuinely terrible
@@dice9270 it isn’t, the story was very short in fact much shorter than aftermath from MK11 except now the ending is very disappointing with no follow up other than ladder endings giving vague hints. The story alone should’ve been $5 if we are being honest.
@@gabrieltejada1697 for a dlc story expansion? No you are never getting something like this for 5. Also after math is just as long or longer by like 10 or 20 min. Their both 2 hours long at least and comparing playthroughs from different content creators they both take close to the same amount of time, again maybe like a 10 min difference. Ending I will agree should have showed havik and he should have had another phase or something. Plus I do have problems with the story mode, price is not one. It could also be 15 since I'm not sure how they would have sold the character pass since year 1 had them 8 each. So the pass is either 30 - 35.

I like the idea of how to interpret these skins in particular. It can either be the OGs we all know and love, or, unique enough, these can be tall power armors. Almost like Samus. On top of that, they can have voice modulators that make them sound like men. Plus, the gun and the bombs are missing in the intros. Either way, this video is GOATED!

This had to be from the beginning. It's all well and good to give more prominence to women, but that doesn't mean you should change the gender of two iconic characters... Bad move, Liu Kang.
Which is why I’m hoping we get male skins for them in the future. Invasions are already done now. I had a theory that they would do one for Sektor but they would keep him male since the original Sektor would want to convert every human being into a machine. And he would have to make for it. But it does seem like they’re retconning them into being female in classic timelines too given how we saw chaos versions of them from Havik’s timeline being female which makes no sense since this Havik is meant to be from a classic timeline.

Yes, Cyrax was always black. But, that is not MY issue. My issue is the gender-swap, and don't hit me with the "different timeline, it doesn't affect your life" bullshit, because it still feels massively disrespectful. Not to mention, completely butcher Sektor and making him into a woman that only wants Bi-Han's dick is a massive middle finger to his fans.

I do not mind the change. Female Sektor caring for Noob Saibot was cute. I like Cyrax as well. I do wish Noob could stay in that form but keep his personality instead of being fully fixed. It would be great if he became a lethal protector which is what I thought it was heading. Part 2 was fairly short. I liked it but I feel like they could have done more as there were more characters in the first part which got nothing. It was cool seeing Noob head in to battle Havik instead of fleeing like most would.
Female versions would’ve been cool as their own character.. if the developers really wanted them, why not making them umgadi, or just new lin keui members..

I kind of wish that kameos were also playable, and that any character can be picked as one. Like picking OG cyrax as the main fighter and lady cyrax as the kameo.

I gotta admit that MK1 Sektor is now my favorite version of the character. From her Kombat prowess, to her interactions with plenty of characters. She-Sektor is awesome.

They are good characters, they knew how to give them a good personality (Cyrax is my favorite) but I don't think they will appear in Mortal Kombat 2, I think they will probably say something like the name "cyrax" and "sektor" are ninja ranks and that both will be replaced for the originals. How curious that the 2 most controversial characters when the game was announced are the two best in the DLC, literally they were what rescued that bad story.

I like the female characters, but it wouldn't hurt to see a reskin like Rob Van Dame to be available for cyrax and sektor, we had one reskin, hoping we would see more. Even injustice had raiden and black lightning. Having male reskins would be cool ngl.
