I think for many of us 30+ year olds, it's just refreshing to hear something that reminds us of our childhood. It's pure nostalgia, and somewhat of a longing for yesteryear. A bittersweet testament that once upon a time, things were more simple. A lot of us have children of our own now, or are deep into our careers, or just holding down our 9-5 jobs trying to provide for our families, and this is a coping mechanism/release for us. Those days are long gone, but at least part of us gets to relive them. The early 2000s and the 90s were truly some of the best times.

With matrix, lotr, mp3 players/cd players, computer games were just starting out with dota/starcraft/counterstrike, etc. I wish I could go back and relive that time and era if only for a day or two
