As always - great podcast! I like subject of reducing features and simplifying things. From my experience I see how difficult it is to admit by management we don't need something what had been built. It requires from management to be mentaly strong, being bold, feel confident and competent... no complexes and showing off.
Overengineering and overcomplicating things is in my view the biggest challenge in the IT world. In the times of big hype around about AI and how brilliant things technology can bring... IT people are trying to catch it up and commit to deliver stuff which is oversized or even impossible to build.
I like term "Occam's razor" and its pricipals transfered to IT product team - Entia non sunt multiplicanda praeter necessitatem (eng: Entities must not be multiplied beyond necessity)

Yup! It's very easy and exciting to come up with solutions. More and more, I don't feel like every problem needs a tech solution
