- Massimo discovers that Jackie lied about being with Lauren Fenmore and accuses her of having an affair. She swears blind that she's not and claims that her problem has been with alcohol. Massimo is still suspicious but tells her that she needs to get help for her drinking. Nick and Brooke assure Deacon that if Nick adopts Hope, Deacon will still be a part of Hope's life. Deacon finally agrees to let Nick adopt Hope then Nick asks Deacon to join them at a party at Massimo and Jackie's to sign papers.

In this scene, I felt a bit for Deacon because even though he was not an ideal father, but Brooke did push Deacon out of Hope's life for most of the time because let's face Deacon was a reminder of her betrayal to Bridget.
