    In addition to this brave man's commentary, seeing the sadness and disgust in the faces of what presumably are his family members seated behind him, it tells somewhat of the magnitude of pain and suffering that the horrendous withdrawal from Afghanistan caused. That is what can be seen in the video, but how much pain and suffering was there by Afghanistan people that supported the US endeavor and were left behind, and that which we can't know?

      Soldiers serve in an army. The etymology of army is from the Latin “to arm” referring to arms similar to the 2nd amendment right to bear arms. No need to be pedantic about the word soldier. He took up arms and was fighting for the country, ergo he is a soldier regardless of what branch of the armed forces he represents.

    • @dstephenson5849
      @dstephenson5849 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      With all due respect, and although your definition is correct, "anyone" can be a soldier - NOT everyone can be a Marine.@@BobSmith-pm3wxMay I ask, have you ever served in any branch of the military?

    • @BobSmith-pm3wx
      @BobSmith-pm3wx ปีที่แล้ว

      @@dstephenson5849 No. I have zero interest in being cannon fodder for wars for Israel or for the CIA to control poppy fields in Afghanistan. Or to depose some random government so the US can destabilize a foreign nation in a way that is diametrically opposed to the values of our founders. I sensed the corruption at a young age. I don't think we've had a single legitimate war since probably the revolutionary war, so why would I serve?
      The US government is at war with its people, as evidenced by them violating our first amendment rights. The armed forces aren't doing the right job, are they. As a whole, they aren't respecting their oath to the constitution, in fact they're doing the opposite, they're enabling its violation.

    • @BobSmith-pm3wx
      @BobSmith-pm3wx ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@dstephenson5849 Assuming that last comment I made doesn't get censored instantly, I say all this as someone who has close friends who have served, and one friend who is a Marine. I do not mean any disrespect and people have their reasons for doing what they do. We can disagree about the value of serving or the proper way to express love of country and love of our fellow countryman while maintaining respect for one another.

    I am torn between grief, pain, sadness, anger, hate, and frustration! The grief, pain, and sadness is for this heroic young man that did everything RIGHT AND ALL THAT HE COULD!!! My anger, hate, and frustration is for the SO-CALLED COMMANDING OFFICER THAT COULD NOT MAKE A DECISION THAT WOULD PROTECT HIS TROOPS AND THE INNOCENT CIVILIANS! THAT THE CHANGE OF COMMAND WAS A BUNCH OF PANTY WASTE WORTHLESS BEINGS THAT HAD NO BUSINESS BEING IN THE MILITARY, MUCH LESS AN OFFICER! PEOPLE DIED AND WERE GRAVELY INJURED BECAUSE OF THEM! THANK GOD THAT HE WAS PROTECTING SGT. TYLER VARGAS-ANDREWS SO HE COULD LIVE TO TELL THE TRUTH OF THE INCOMPETENCE OF THE OFFICERS!!!

      do u think god too weak to protect him and his comrades from being shredded by an ied? God definitely could have spared him the pain and suffering as well as spared the lives of his comrades. It is absurd to believe that god chose to let him and his buddies get shredded by an ied, inflicting needless misery and killing his battle buddies, while ensuring the damage to the SGT was only severe enough to disable him. Why not just stop the ied and spare us the pain and misery? its certainly within God's power

    • @ionecuff6323
      @ionecuff6323 13 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@lesterroberts1628 God gave every human being the FREEDOM OF CHOICE AND TO MAKE THEIR OWN DECISIONS. God did not sent those troops there. God did not send in the suicide bomber, all of those were choices and decisions made by other people. So don't blame God for the decisions and choices people make. How would people learn right from wrong, or the consequences of their actions if he stepped in every time? The TREASONOUS IDIOTIC DEMONICRAP PARTY AND RINOS WERE THE ONES THAT SCREWED UP THE WITHDRAWAL FROM AFGHANISTAN. Those troops that were killed, DIED SAVING LIVES OF THE INNOCENT CIVILIANS AND CHILDREN! Each of those troops are in Heaven with our Lord and Savior! The problem with kids today is that the parents never let their kids to deal with the consequences of them making the wrong choices and decisions. But you trying to blame God for everything is beyond ridiculous. If you would read the Bible, you would see that all of this was predicted to happen. So instead of fighting against the evil to try to avoid or delay what is to come, you choose to join the side of evil that is wanting to destroy everything. I will pray for you and everyone to open your eyes to see what is really happening. I can tell you what is already in the makings for the next step of what the Bible says will happen, and the Democrats are pushing it hard. They have been working on it for a long time. Robert Kennedy and others have been exposing it but no one would believe him, even though the FACTS AND EVIDENCCE PROVE HE IS RIGHT!

Our flag and the anthem represent everything America and it’s Brave men and women have been threw. The ones who payed the ultimate price and those left with deep emotional scars that will never go away. I remember when this meant everything to every single American when I was growing up. This younger generation have been brainwashed by the public schools and college universities. I hope and pray that we as a country will return back to that time. God Bless and be with this young and brave young man and all the other who have been through world conflict and for protecting us here at home. Much love to every single individual that’s brave enough to wear the uniform.

      The folks in the Whitehouse are 110% guilty for what they did to these heroes. They've NEVER even so much APOLOGIZE FOR ALL THE LIVES LOST AND ALL THE PERMANENTLY DISABLED. The arrogance and the gall for biden trying to shake his hand. The problem with that is he no longer has an arm to shake. Then the audacity to start talking about his dead son. How evil does one have to be to think or act this way?

    What did the suffering of this man and the 10 of thousands of others both American and Afghan alike achieve besides making the war profiteers rich? War is a racket, listen to the pain this man expresses before you allow yourself to be used.

They trusted us, after 20 years, never expecting us to leave them to the Taliban terrorists. My heart breaks. We don’t leave places better than they were. We left our military equipment there for Taliban. Arm Taliban but disarm Americans. Sgt Vargas.💔✝️💯🙏🏼

      Here's some "nonsense" for you to read...
      The Trump administration signed with the talibans, on Feb. 29 of 2020 (in Doha), an agreement about "withdrawing all foreign soldiers before May 1st of 2021", in exchange with assurance of safety and direct negociations between "insurrectionnists" and Kaboul authorities. President Biden has decided to stick to this agreement, while postponing withdrawal to Aug. 31st of 2021.

      @@gillesmatheronpro We know all about how Trump negotiated a withdrawal from Afghanistan, but we also know it would not have been done the way Biden did it. Everything would have been different if we wouldn't have deserted Bagram Air Base.

    Your right brother and now we’re seeing the same repeat with US involvement in Ukraine. Sad thing it could have been stopped if we had a president that actually cared but chose to line his pockets with all the stock profits that make them all so rich with war. American is becoming the exact opposite of what it was when I was being raised. It’s literally fully apart right in front of us and I’ve never felt so helpless.
