3D Scan From Smartphone to BIM

This short timelapse shows the workflow from scanning a room with your smartphone and moving the pointcloud file to Archicad for creating a floor surface drawing as PDF.
The 3D scanning software for the phone is: poly.cam

do you need an iphone with lidar?

No you can use both Android and iPhone, but without the Lidar, the app will use photogrammetry, which is not as precise.
