This is awesome! My heart almost stopped when I saw the notification for this upload. I’ve made one before that doesn’t have a whole lot of detailing, but in light of the Mandalorian, I was considering going back an adding some, so this might give me a few ideas on how to best do that. Fine job as always!

Indeed, it would be even a better solution! but it would be too much of a stretch for that channel as the challenge is to use cardboard and paper as main components
@@cherish2540 Well cardboard is not a good material when it comes to that part unfortunately... so you have to be aware that painting it is gonna make all the imperfections much more visible, (That's the reason why I don't paint them), that being said I'm quite demanding with my props, maybe too much lol. But if you want to paint it I recommend you to use acrylic paint as it is a thick and opaque type of paint as opposed to water based paint that will soak the cardboard leading to very poor result 😉

The thickness of cardboard I use is always mentioned on the templates for every pieces, I think it was like 5mm, but don't hesitate to check your templates. That being said for the T'-rex skeleton you can use thicker cardboard if you want, like 8mm or even 1cm thick if you need to, it shouldn't be a problem ;)

Raphael,I have a great question, how thick is that brown paper you use to cover your props? I have to use masking tape on mine since the paper I used dissolved in the water/glue mix. I measured the thickness of the paper and it's 0.020mm(trust me, I used a micrometer).

I take your request into account, and I'll surely make more dinosaurs don't worry! It's just that those are really time consuming to create so it is a tough for me to chose the right period to make them (as I'm on schedule on this channel...) but I will make more of them eventually ;)

Well I've been working on premiere for years so there is that, but I'm not that fast actually, each video I edit is taking me like 5 days to do sometimes more. That's the reason why I'm in the process of hiring a professional editor to do ii for me as it will save me so much time! lol
the funny thing is that once i finished making the boba fett helmet, i tried making this myself, im up to paper maché but im going to forget it and make this, because mine looks very bad. Edit: I just thought of something for you to make, but it will take a while; try making Mando’s Amban Sniper Rifle? would love to see you try! 😉

Well I don't have a micrometer so It's difficult to tell, but the thickness is about the same as regular desk printer paper :)
