I personally don't like those touch-sensitive buttons, but my dad says he doesn't mind them. The Pilot is probably my favorite mid-size SUV right now. I think it looks a gazillion times better than the ugly 2nd gen Pilot both inside & out.
Now the grand question is, now that it is 6 years later how is this vehicle fairing? I have an smexy looking obsidian blue pearl one that my local Honda dealer is trying to sell me for $12k (after a $5k trade in credit from the current vehicle I'm driving, sticker price is $17k) that only has 85k miles on it. I'm hearing rumors that the transmissions are failing.
LOL people complain about everything. No there isn’t a dedicated knob but you have controls on the steering wheel. Knobs break up the smoothness and flow of the contour so no knob is subjective

Ada Akogun I have 2013 Pilot and I can tell this pilot has less 3rd row space than my Pilot. Mine fits 3 (medium size) adults in regular sitting position in 3rd row (where their knees are not up to their chest) the newer pilots have 2 passenger seats in 3rd row and seats are lower to the floor so passengers knees are up to their chest. So really good for small kids but not for adults (5'2" to 5'9" height passengers)
My grandparents are the exact same way with the interior cleanliness, recently their saab 97x with the 5.3 with only about 111k, which they've had since new in 2009, had some issues, and of course my grandma freaked out, and had to get rid of it, and they got an Enclave. The car barely fits in the garage, the interior was already filthy after only 2k miles, and my grandma is 74 and she is the only one who drives it.
ThinkOutsideTheCube they averaged about 18 combined, the Enclave isn't much better. Their daily commute consists of driving through the country, and seeing what the Amish people are doing.
Do you know what those round things are on either side in the front by the windshield and the side doors? No sound comes out of them so I have no idea what they are, do you? Thanks.
My dad has a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trail hawk and it has the auto start stop feature on it. He really doesn't like the feature and has the same complaint as you. We took it to the dealer and they said that there was no way to permanently turn it off on the jeep. I personally think that it's really annoying and I wish It didn't have that feature.
Nice. Unfortunately the only way to disable auto start stop is to push the button, or lightly push the brake pedal. Also, was there any reason why they didn't check out the 2018 Traverse?

Car Nation interior is about the only thing nice about this vehicle. The exterior has to grow on me still. The white looks good though

I'm surprised they kept the 9-7x that long, I bet the MPG was terrible. My grandparents are notorious for never buying tires, just trading lol

Unfortunately you can’t turn off the auto stop start for good. You will just have to turn it off every time you get into the car.
