Hi Chris, your right about working under cars, I hate it too, sports cars are awkward being so low, my MGTF wont even go up ramps in the front, the car is so low the ramps clash with the bumper. I will modify them sometime. you must be nearly there with the red car, bet you can't wait to get it on the road.🙂
Good progress Chris...it looks like British market cars use a dashboard that is a true mirror image of Canadian spec Wedges....do the 7s have the recess in the trunk (boot?) for the battery? My 8 came with the rear battery, yet oddly, has the tray for the front mounted battery also. Perhaps 7s and 8s used identical shells

Jim, I believe you are correct. The Battery tray is still in the Red and Blue cars. My 8 had a conversion in the 1980's. Take care. Chris Robinson.
