suggest an episode on The Sire de Coucy, made popular by Barbara Tuchman's A Distant Mirror. very interesting & complex fellowwho took part in most of the major actions of his day in the 1300's. you folks could reallybring him to life...........♡

I love how this battle is used to show how poorly trained and low intelligent the French knights were. I've never trusted that theory.
