M Alghamdi impossible. That’s 27 ships max per game is 24. But yeah I get the same thing when I play my Geade. Just get uptiered into tier 8 games filled with radars and DDs and cvs

WoW... I didn't know that a Shima could do all that. I mean... CV match but CV just allowed him to torp everyone without having a single plane to spot him? NO Radar Cruiser to radar him,, no DD to fight him and to top it all his targets made it easy for him. Video should be called "How to Shima when there's no one to kill you".
I did this few times. The biggest problem, it is gambling. You choose a setup and then roll the dice. It would be very nice if few aspects could be changed during game or lets say in the loading screen before you enter the game. Consumables and weapon loadouts for example. It would add some extra room to manouver to the players with functioning brain.
Exactly what i was thinking. I could have done that if i had that kind of resistance. Whenever im in a shima im spotted immediately and damn near permanently

So, from that point of view one might call this a video for the non-shima-player: NEVER EVER let a shima be unattended that way. Otherwise this will happen. And, as we are already at this very point: NEVER EVER let anything or anybody be unattended - if you are interested in a win.
how often during this vid I tought to myself: "torp already, goddamnit". Then I remembered, how bad I do on the Shima :P very well played and awesome trigger discipline!

Very dangerous boat, well played. Shima plays better when there are fewer DDs. It was amazing the player did a good job staying out of radar range for the most part. Also, he was way out front of his BBs which allowed him time to get within good torp range and kill them quicker.
dd ignore them, cv ignore them, easy game...
And painfully lots of straight line sailors aka XP pinatas.
The yamy driving towards the border after the first group of BB's are dead. Glad to see teammates allowing you to get all that farm.

Although I loved seeing that damage , a lot of these comments about basically "being let run loose with noone to do shit to you" played a huge part in being able to do this. Even still congrats man, I enjoyed the video nonetheless. Currently grinding my Kagero, skipping t9 and going straight o Shima when the chance arises. Good Luck and fair seas sir.
This is somewhat Of rare battle, When no one searching for you and you stay at undetectable range sure throw enough shit at the wall and some of it will stick it’s not rocket science and BBs still can’t get it through their head to not sail in a straight line.

i like to think that widespread is best used as a hearding tool if you know that they are aware of you, you shoot a prehensive seemingly awfull widespread and aim a normal non retarded spread in the gaps. also widespread is best used at close ranges when you try to banzai stuff.

That's by far not close to any average random Shimakaze match. In fact, this - though impressive - match represents roughly 1% or less of any Shimakaze match nowadays. C'mon, when do you get ignored by everyone despite throwing torpedos in each and every detection? Every red one had the "detected" symbol active for minutes, even the cruisers out of spotting range from the green team, except the DD. How could they ignore that obvious threat? Weird. Must have been fun to be a Shimakaze at least for once.
The shima can do everything in this vid ",BUTT" getting within 5.5 k to use the 81k torps is super hard with radar and planes.

Id say this was a great game but typically, if its handed to you on a silver platter, its really that impressive. Not a single plane or radar or even other dd detected or attempted to detect and all the ships in view sailed in lines so straight i felt like i was watching a t2 battle.

All armament in question needs to be fired at the same time for a dev strike, he waited for a bit to launch the second row
I wondered the same, im guessing it was a few milliseconds from a Devstrike, but he did delay the 2nd spread just a tiny bit as he wasnt completely sure if the yama was turning.

First, no enemy CA use radar and protect their BBs. Second, only 1 DD each team and no CV. So when you play shima in common condition you might get worse environment to let you trop enemy BBs.
Enemy CV pilot gets full credit for Shima having this great game.

The score is impressive but it's not a hard fought score. The player wasn't under pressure. It's nice, a bit hollow, but nice.
Khab should have kept turning away from the Shima the moment Shima opened fire. Not sure why he kept sailing broadside to the Shima for some time, maybe because he didn't want his targets to leave his firing range?

What server are these videos from?! I've always heard Asian server players are trash and European are "ok" but I've hardly ever seen a game on NA where most of the players are that predictable and down right unskilled. This "Captain" isn't even good. He got blessed with the luck of facing short-bus window-lickers.
It is actually quite the opposite for Asia. It seems that at least half of the players in the match, on average, are enough competent to make the game slightly harder to win for both sides. There will always be games similar to this, where both sides are incompetent with one(or two) player(s) carrying the entire team. However, those games are far and few between, compared to other servers.
With that said, you still have to take my words with a pinch of salt, since I do not represent the entire Asian playerbase at 54-55% winrate with around 2000 battles.

Asia BB players on average have many more useless edge sailers and campers than NA. They tend to be far too passive and will happily camp while losing and never even try to win a game.
Its hard to find BBs who will PUSH and get within 10km of camps. Most like to sit at 20km sniping in a German BB.
But Asia also has many very good cruiser players and DD players.
NA tends to have better BBs who push in and angle, but generally a lot worse Cruisers who broadside and get blapped.
DDs everywhere tend to be better players simply because you get almost zero forgiveness, if you make a single mistake, you often die and certainly lose a lot of health which cannot be recovered.
That said this game almost never happens. Where the CV completely ignores a DD which is clearly pushing in close enoughto spot and Threaten the CV. It took being actually shot before the CV took notice.
Normal gameplay is CV harasses DD and keeps it spotted until its blapped to death by 7 enemy ships, especially the Shima because the smoke duration isnt great.
Ive had games like this on my Shima but they are VERY rare and a lot has to fall your way...
Still fun when it does.

Not true. The biggest bane for a Shima is the CV perma spotting, otherwise there are very few threats if you choose to stay stealthy, position well and keep the enemy spotted.
Easier said than done but there are a lot of situations where shima can delete ships off the map with very little risk.
It all comes down to positioning and use of cover.
Non CV games are typically far better for Shima, id rather face 6 Radar cruisers than 1 competent CV who prioritizes spotting DDs.
yes but you can have only one match of dream but the rest of matches??.. all cruisers with radar, the hydros, the CVs, the other DDs better than you in guns, life and more consumables the shima only have good hiding and torps. When you go to cap your team dont support you all stay behind of the island sniping and its really annoying.. the shima have your time a long time ago now its really hard to play it you can die really faster and only lose credits im not a hater i really love the ship its my firts tier X in the game but i dont know i think need a little of love a simple buff in your guns maybe..

How many matches do you go through to get a game like this? How much do you think wargaming loads your turnout due to the fact that you promote their game? Do you think that you are that good? how much money have you given this company? Could you show any games where your team loses horribly and you get destroyed quickly? Does this happen to you as it does to many players who actually play as well or better? It is a team game and you always appear to be on the winning side. How about showing some truth to what this game rally is? Or are you afraid that they will target you giving you less citadels, more dispersion as they often do to many players. All serious questions that most are to myopic to ask. This shit is rigged and im guessing you think you are good because the odds are loaded in your favor.
