Oden's Eye 60% of my palettes had quality issues like hard panned shadows BEFORE use or shimmers crumbling out of the pan by first use or shimmers feeling like glue with glitters suspended in it and being unusable... And I'm not alone

Thank you for swatching the restock of last year's palettes. All of the reviews I've seen have only had swatches of the two new palettes, so I was wondering about the quality of the re-stock. I was worried it'd be lacking but good to hear it's the same quality as last year's.

This video just confirmed my bad feelings about new ones, regardless of many other ultra positive PR based reviews . We just don t have to buy everything , do we? :)

Last year's were awesome. This year's will make great Easter/Spring palettes. In getting these new ones, putting them with my Helaween palettes and putting them all away until Spring. I think you can wear any color any time, but for my preference, I don't want Easter palettes in winter. 😂😂

Maybe their formula is better used for washes of color but i totally get what you mean. I havent purchased anything from OE since the Angelica Nyqvist Hela pallette
Something’s definitely off about these. Theresa is Dead also had a lot of issue with one of the palettes. I’m still gonna try and get my hands on last year’s Christmas palette (the blue cool toned one) because they sold out last year and I couldn’t get it.

Wow ur Reindeer palette makeup is the best i have seen so far! Love how the light, mid blue blend into pink for the matte, and omg i never think of using shimmer in such placement! It is so wonderful that if this video is on mute, i would have add Reindeer in my cart too!
Just got Merry Christmas and Snow Dream palettes using your code ❤ They are more of my style color story wise, since I just got the Little Ghost Helaween-launch to fill any need for blues and pinks 💖💙 I'm really pale/fair, so I think the Snow Dream colors will look pretty saturated on me, but I agree with you that on medium/darker skintones it probably won't translate as pigmented, which is a shame they didn't provide more range in color depth 😓
I actually think it’s swatching great! Although, I’m SO fair and cool toned that the pigment of these shadows look perfect for the looks that work best on me!
Everyone swoons over Oden's Eye's color stories and I get it but there's always a few shades that just....don't fit to me. Mostly it's the obsession with putting murky shades in Every. Single. Color. Story. It always stops me from buying from them. In this case, we also have some quality issues. I can dupe most of this out, tbh, with better quality shadows from other indies. The only release I'm looking into purchasing is either CB Winter Wonderland or Simply Posh's Cozy Cabin.

It's interesting... on your first look I would have applied the three pastels, put on some eyeliner and call it a day. I am not so sure about the darker shade and the shimmers feel very lackluster from what I am used to from the brand... Idk, not my vibe at least. Not fan of of the color-stories as well as the art on the packaging. I wonder how these palettes would play out on deeper complexions too... And I start to see the same colors keeping on coming back from one palette to another (the same type of sage greens, or chartreuses, oranges etc.). Could be nice if they would just slow down on the releases and think it through a little more.

On top of the 2 palettes right before this and 3 palettes right before that. They aren't the cheapest brand but are releasing like colorpop. Not only that, but they give customers 3 days to prepare financially for a launch.
Personally I hate their eyeshadow quality, I bought the Ange one and love the colours but the shimmers have massive fallout and fade so quickly despite a glitter glue base 🤷🏻♀️ not worth it IMHO
@Lili-bx1bl That's the main thing that urked me about the brand. They claim to be a "Swedish brand," but really, everything is Chinese. They know they're misleading people by saying this, trying to create the image that they're made in Swedan. Glaminatrix, for example, is a true Australian brand made in Australia. I've complained so much about that at this point, I don't even bring it up anymore. People don't seem to care about honesty.

The PR batches usually have the good quality in them. Not so much what everyone else gets. Oden's Eye has tons of inconsistency batch to batch

Adept just announced a new palette shipping in December. They are better than odens eye for shimmers, so I will wait and see.

Their glitters are pretty but super chunky. Glamlite has the same beautiful shimmers but smoother.
