07 ski-doo Rev Triple Swap! - Part 1

- Made a video about my second triple swaped ski-doo rev. Used the same engine (yamaha 700 redhead) as the first time, just tried a few different things for experiment.. (engine mounted higher, single pipe etc)

red heads are some of the best triples ever made. many people run triples richer then it says too, that tends to keep them alive longer.

Cool build, I might do something similar if my 03 800 blows up. I think the Polaris xcr800 engine would be cool, 159hp after some porting your in the 170+hp range with custom pipes. You could surprise a lot of people on the lake with that.

I was thinking same thing I got a couple none running rev chassis and I got a 02 edge x 800 that fucking rips and I wanna throw it in something more capable 😏
That would be a pretty easy swap. You just have to make sure you get the clutches lined up right. The exhaust would be easy, just use the rev pipe and the rev airbox might even work without mods. You could always put in a 700 Polaris twin later if the 800 goes out, same bottom end as the 800 but more reliable. The 2002 700 Polaris engine was the most powerful, it will give 800 twins a run for their money.

Never seen that before with a yammy in a bombi, they usually don't mix! Make sure you check your oil so that it let's you know it's low before the gas runs out! I have a vmax 700, 1997 at the moment, greasy tripple, love it too!

The lack of snow makes it hard to get motivated. I built my rotary swapped 03 rev last year amd rode al season. Haven't even touched it this year.

Awesome video. Triple swap to a Rev body . Nice ! One thought for the finish . Change the music . Not that I'm old or anything , cuz I am . Songs with some upbeat rhythm and sound . Check out JOE SATRIANIS music . No vocals in most song but it's great tunes for back ground

I see the 98 gauges at the end of the video… the newer vmax had nicer gauges

Well, I still use the stock Rev 440 engine plate with 4 rubber mounts.. So no more viberation than the 800HO.

Two questions. Why?? And how much power did you lose by putting in the triple? Don't get me wrong I love old triples, I still have my old Thundercat, but no engine is more useless than a single pipe triple two stroke. You probably dropped your power by 25% with that swap.
Why? Looks like he had a blown sled sitting in the back 40 and brought it back to life!

First triple swapped rev i did is still on the same belt. Worth mention, it got vented panels, polaris P85 primary and team secondary.
