I feel so bad for Jack Hanna, he's always getting cut off by the audience, guests and even the host. I understand u have time limits etc but just let the guy talk, I was actually interested in what he had to say but he kept getting cut off every minute even seconds. I give this man lots of respect for having and being able to put up with it and carry on.

That's what I was thinking about too, but I'm sure they'd enforce something like that if the people who bring the animals insisted on it. But yeah, I've always felt the same as you when watching these clips.
I wish they were smart enough as adults to not have to be told. But here we are.
I used to think that too. But these animals that they bring on the show must be used to humans and audiences a lot by now. These are like the ambassadors and they probably are less affected by it than other wild ones.

People that are afraid of harmless animals have just lost contact with nature. You can tell she has been around animals , well enough to know that this was just an innocent stretch( i don't know the term). Really any normal person would react like her. Why would you be afraid of a porcupine ffs? You can easily read the animal too and you don't have to be an expert. I have dogs , i am not an expert , but i can understand that the animal is relaxed and curious of its surroundings.

I've learned about it in med school lol. The foot pad of this animal are actually used to grow m. laprae (leprosy) because of the temperature of the foot

Lucy is Asian so I believe cause of her culture she's very respectful and she as a person is aswell.

All this guy wants to do is talk about these animals and everyone else is just carrying on trying to be funny. I feel bad for the guy because you can tell he has such a great passion for animals and he just wanted to spread some of his knowledge.
I feel like that is the same on every talk show. All the animal experts come on and the host just over talks them. Especially the late nights, Fallon, Kimmel, and Conan.

I hear ya, but I've seen Jack Hanna on all the late night shows, and the hosts and guests always make jokes. They are there for entertainment and Hanna is there for education. What Hanna never does is adapt to the comedic world he walked into and lighten up a little. I love Hanna, he's a brilliant animal expert, but he has no idea how to adapt to late night tv haha. It's okay, it makes for funny moments
It isnt a nature show, its a chat show, late at night aswell, its not going to attract audiences seeking knowledge.

Eugene Grewing jack always wants to spend alot of time talking about each animal but due to the nature of live television broadcasts it's not possible. James has producers in his ear giving him cues to move in to the next animal so they can fit everything in before commercial breaks and before they go off the air
Also, he has very few skills in being thorough and clear, which makes it kind of annoying to listen.. It actually feels like he is very unconfortable.. and also, very often people ask him questions and he is like "I don't know", so... yeah, maybe the hosts just want to avoid awkwards silences and blabbering.. :/

As someone who lives only 20 minutes from the Columbus zoo, you actually can have interactions like this all the time! They have camps for kids, overnight stays, and other daily events where you can meet and interact with the animals!

7:30.... lol! I used to volunteer at the Columbus Zoo. When Manatee Coast opened, I helped with the opening, and Jack was there meeting people and taking pictures and such. He was gracious, took his time with everyone, and you could see he was so genuinely excited and passionate about the animals and their care. One of my fondest memories. He was a friendly, funny, kind person. Got to meet him a few times there, and it was always a nice experience. Whenever I see him on a talk show, it makes me want to go back to those days. I really miss those times.
So we have Jack, Lucy even James who fed the Camel properly, and then there is wild Terry who just literally gets kissed by a camel. LOL

that was the chillest coyote i've ever seen, not that i've seen a lot, but the videos i have seen,they generally are more skittish, this one guy who has a rescued coyote scooter it often growls before rolling over or getting scritches. this one was super friendly.
