When someone can sing, then he shines like a star above the rest, who can sing but not quite like him, really... and the shining star here is KIDDUS I, for sure! You can hear the difference when he takes the mic...and then it starts: what a VOICE he has! Thanks for posting. Blessed Love!

Gustavo Cotta But not number one dancer. Flabba Holt.. nuff respect to the "I" as a bass player- musician. I love the "I" bass lines. Roots Radics is a well recognized band, but when it comes to dancing you can't touch "Persian" the cat. You and me are about the same age ...I may even be a few years older from Fletchers Land. In the heart of Sir Coxsone, Duke Reid, V Rocket, Prince Buster, Billy's Hometown HiFi, and all the other systems of the East, and I have never heard of you or anyone that can out dance Persian. You need to stop saying that you can dance better than Persian. In your mind! Have you ever danced at Forester's Hall, Mutual hall, Jubilee tile Gardens, Caterers, Kings Lawn, Liberty Hall among many others. These are places where Persian have danced on many occasions in front of hundreds or thousands of people. You may have been good out in your area but not good enough to mix with Patta Cat. Ask King Stitch about Persian. Ask Matchuke about Persian. Ask Skatalites about Persian. I'm talking about late 50's to early 60's. Who can I ask about you and what name were you known by. You mentioned "Bop" in a video and he can't dance like Persian. Bop would watch Persian dance. I've witnessed it. You would first have to out dance Bop to get to Persian. Please stop saying that, cause you cannot dance like Persian the Cat, Flabba! I rest my case.
@Rilo87 The host was a Swedish reggae musician but he doesn't make music anymore, now he host radio and tv and spreads music from the Carribean and Africa. This was a Swedish show and he was exploring the music around the world and Jamaica was of course compulsary! This Inna de Yard part was this long and the rest was about females in dancehall but this was the coolest. You can't get the whole episode though. His mission is to educate swedes in good music. Thats why he ask some simple questions.
It was driving me crazy trying to figure out the first song they were jamming on at the 1:00 mark. Finally my brain unclogged itself and it's the riddim for Johnny Clarke - None Shall Escape The Judgement
