This fly fishes really, really well. It isn't too big to cast in most 6wts too, so you don't have to go with a real heavy rod if you don't want to. It's pretty awesome.

Thanks! My wife re-did my logo....I thought it was pretty cool too. I doubt you can really tell but the brown trout in the "O" is actually chasing a big streamer. :-)

I throw this on 6wt. Put my 2 cents in, anyway I tied up 3 of these last weekend and went Pike fishing yesterday. No luck on the Orange, I also tied up one olive and chartreuse and used straight silver flash for the belly and made it a bit longer. I wish I could post pics on your channel..lol.. I caught a Pike 1meter 10 on this fly!! About broke my 6wt rod.. I caught it in a small canal here in Holland. The fly looks great in the water, good movement! The Pike like it, I caught 4 on it!!

6 or 7wt is ideal but I throw it on my 8wt too.....a bit overkill but it is my goto streamer rod for trout.

***** I actually don't use Beadalon. I use beading wire from Walmart, it is a little more thick and it has a poly coating on it that is "rough" so it "grabs" the thread.....so much better than Beadalon.

use 15lb backing, u can make multiple wraps than fold it back over for more secure wraps
and its cheap as fuck
